Not like we were gonna get him anyway.

Stick a fork in him, Griff's done.

Least ambitious draft process I can possibly imagine.
    Basketball.

The media just wants to unsettle Zion as much as possible and turn the fans against him. They know our organization has been a trainwreck and we did nothing to dispel it last year. We have to shut them up and become a stable franchise. This year we have to make splashes- which is why Hawkins is a solid pick.

Whether we're good this year is entirely on the health of Zion and Ingram. If both of them miss 35+ games again, Hawkins could be rookie of the year and we're missing the playoff again.

Golly gee I sure hope we have a mobileish defensive big man on our radar

Yep. I think part of that though is trying to limit both BI and Zion’s minutes and usage. Zion can carry the world until he takes a bad fall or a few too many cheap shots. Last year Zion had to do too much and took a few too many beatings. Hopefully more shooting helps alleviate that stress.

Nah we need a dirty get in the dirt rebounding and pest on defense type of big. I say we get the dirtiest big we can can get. Let?s get Draymond

I really like the potential UDFA pool this year. So there’s that.

The Spurs picked Miller and then traded him. That would have been a nice pairing with Wemby too. Ugh.

I'd like to see us go after Montrez Harell and keep Jonas V.

Excuse me sir, but I believe the correct spelling is Montrezl Harrell

    Show the proper respects please

    Trayce is still available

Keeping half an eye on Connecticut Center, Adama Sonogo. If he remains undrafted, maybe Hawkins can bring him down with him as an UDFA. Every year, Griff and Company seem to hit on one.

Would love to trade (or buy) back in and grab TJD! One of my favorite bigs in the draft and I think would work well as a Nance-like small ball 5...

Where do we stand in relation to the luxury tax? After the draft pick, we have to be pretty darn close to the line already.

Or please get him as a udfa, if he's still there

Well I'm not going to sit here and get my hopes up for TJD.

But him falling this far is criminal.

There goes that Jaylen Slawson fella.

He could've gone first round even. Shocked that this has happened.

And of course the Warriors move to grab another pick and select an NBA ready big man at #57.

I guess the Pels are just tapped out on bodies right now without a trade. Especially if they still have interest in that overseas stash.

Wouldnt be shocked if they try to sign Tshiebwe as a udfa if he makes it there though.

I would like that. Oscar is a huge amount of fun, and obscenely strong.

Griff says they didn't really try that hard to make any moves in the draft after #14 - cites the increased value of 2nd rounders under the new CBA as a reason it wasn't possible.

Somehow it feels like Brandon Clarke all over again…
