The Rockets have a million on-ball creator type young guys right now. How on earth are they all supposed to develop at once?
    Basketball.

Shooters are often useful early so I am optimistic that this guy can make us a legit 3 point threat with Trey
BI averaged almost double-digit assist to close the year. Which given what he had to work with outside of Trey, is astonishing.

You have two players that benefit from great shooting.

Podziemski in GS is a fantastic fit, he works their system perfectly. Great shooter, great passer, plays with a team mindset.

Whitmore in Houston is a horrible fit, they already have like 5 guys who need to be on ball to work and it's already a logjam, and they took Amen in this same draft and he also needs on ball reps to maximise his potential.

    Tale of two cities, eh?

BI doesn’t need it though. ZION ABSOLUTELY NEEDS IT. It helps everyone, but Zion more than anyone else

Whitmore will be an interesting case study in the predraft process. It?s hard to imagine him dropping this far when you just look at the age/tools.

Purely on ability, I had him top 10. But apparently there were medical concerns and some off-court stuff. So that'll be intriguing.

Huge upside bet in Whitehead. Had him in the lottery on talent alone.

The tools were always questionable. I had him as overrated for a minute. I just didn't see this top 10 ability.

Also from Woj, Zion has spent the most time at the Pels facility this entire summer. As many of us said before.

People like fat boy Windhorst (and other click-thirsty media members) should be open to libel or just plain spreading falsehoods.

CJ was reporting that they were working out together in NOLA the other day, and just a few days before that he was hosting events for the kids at the Pels facility. When T Spoon was let go, Zion was on site to have a quick meeting with Griff that day.

The idea that there was no relationship is the most absurd piece of reporting on this topic all year.

Woj adds that Richaun Holmes is on the way to the Mavs

Mavs really tooling up. West is looking brutal, yet again.

Yep. And that loser will just say "I wasn't wrong, some guy I talked to was wrong".
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.

BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.

Utah getting both Brice and Hendricks is wild, great draft for them
