    Any New Arena Updates

I know that the organization has waffled back and forth on whether to just keep renovating the arena or actually build a new one altogether. At some point, renovations aren't going to cut it in a building with as little square footage as SKC

I also realize that they've extended the lease to the end of the decade but they need to start making some decisions on where to go from there. How do you all see this going down in the long run?

They're worrying about the Superdome first. Once that's done, I would be surprised if there's money/appetite for a new arena (as opposed to a renovation), but we'll see.

A team in a similar market, OKC, is getting a new one and Sac got theirs 7 years ago.

Plus the Bensons still own that land on the river front that being developed I believe.

So the appetite might be larger.

It will happen, but it won't be until well after the dome renovations are done. I personally hope for a demo-and-rebuild on the same site because it's ideal (and the traffic to and from the riverfront would be awful), but it certainly sounds like that's the location they're pushing. The current arena would probably survive with modest renovations for concerts and events.
