Man our “shooter” has terrible handles
    I'm a grinder

Boy Jordan having a rough one tonight. Might outdo Malaki Branham.

I know it hasn't been as flashy as last game, by dyson quietly going 4/6 from 2, throwing in another 8 assists and 3 blocks is still positive. Getting to the line again, as well.

I really like Seabron. He?s better defensively and much stronger than people give him credit for. His jumper doesn?t look bad either. Although he doesn?t use it much, it?s got potential. Tevian Jones is also someone that I would like to get a long look.

He had a really bad game. Looked almost overwhelmed.

Seabron's game is just made for SL/g-league ball. Head down, straight line, tunnel vision rim attacks. His shot does look better this year.

Dyson is going to be a contributor this year.

He's shot really poorly in SL. Not too concerned because it is, after all, SL, but it's true nonetheless.

    He's 5/22 so far in SL from 3. 22.7%.

I said it before but summer league is an endurance contest and J Hawk is maybe showing signs of fatigue. Might need to get in shape.

I thought conditioning was a strength of Hawkins. He's racking up a lot of fumbled balls and stepping out of bounds. Looked as bad as I've ever seen anyone this game. Yikes.

Hope he gets a game where the shots fall just for his confidence.

Steph Curry, who has far superior handles to get to paint shot this in 5 summer league games:

    FG -- 26-80 (33%)\
    3 pt -- 10-29 (34%)

That included a 3-15, 0-4 SL game 4. I think 5 games is a bit much. But the NBA likes overkill.

The high turnovers that's more of a concern. He had those 6/7 turnover games at UConn.

But his role in the big league will obviously have him handling the ball less, with a more defined task when he does have it.

Hopefully his SL performance is not indicative of his potential. He has looked like a pedestrian SL player at best on both ends.

Most of his shots were short so fatigue could be it

The free throws from the first game were very uncharacteristic of him too. It’s either a massive bundle of nerves or fatigue. Either is fine so long as he sorts it out once the season starts.

He has the movement down off a Klay Thompson like off ball shooter, so if he can make these shots, I can’t but think he will be lethal. But, he can’t make the shots! Lol.

Kobe Bufkin just turned in a 3-13, 0-3, 5 turnover game.

SL can just be ugly basketball full of young players. Young player not used to playing a game every other day. Some are playing back-to-back.

    Now my boy Keyonte tho

Yes Keyonte is so far scorching the SL, with Leonard Miller probably the most consistent rookie performer. I hope his injury is minor.

I'm not ready to alarm myself for Hawkins since Summer League is not predictive of success in the League.

Hawkins hasn't looked pedestrian at all despite the bad shooting. He's already made some big time contested shots unassisted. Scored on all 3 levels. Hits and misses on defense.

He certainly hasn't dominated SL but hasn't been "meh" either. His guy stays glued to him, which is valuable.

Certainly displayed a rotation skill level especially when the shot falls.
