All the physical tools it takes to play in today's NBA and none of the mental ones. We completely shifted draft strategies after him.
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.

BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.

Depends on what he's asked to do. If all they want him to do is rim run on PnR and protect the paint... he'll be fine. IDK what our staff wanted him to do but he didn't do it well enough to warrant a 2nd contract.

Possibly. He likely signed for minimum, but supposedly wanted a pretty sizeable contract from Pels.

jax and AD together on defense may be a good thing for the lakers when it come to protecting the rim....like you said, he was good at that.....

young and athletic is what got him a second contract imo....you just have to take a chance on him as a bench guy...

    Super smart move Jax.

He's about to be proclaimed the next big thing in NBA basketball. His social media accounts about to get a huge boost.

He does only slightly more than he did here, and he'll be on all star ballots with votes.

Just waiting to see what happens with Jonas. Stop making me wait.

It could be a fair assessment to say the Pelicans are finished, will roll with what they have, and free agency started and finished with Herb's signing? Outside of making a trade, the Pelicans essentially have no money unless they go luxury tax.

This is from the Times-Picayune: The Pelicans have minimal space under the NBA’s luxury tax line after agreeing to a four-year, $54 million deal with forward Herb Jones. They will have to do some maneuvering in the trade market if they want to stay under the luxury tax line and fill out their roster.

Yeah, we're technically about $4m over the tax, so there's going to be something coming up to get back under. Probably something involving Temple and/or Kira.

Unfortunately, the Lakers are getting better this offseason. No one challenged them on Reaves or Rui.

    Wrong Mo.

Mo Wagner re-signed with the Magic.
Mo Bamba is still a FA.

For the record, i believe we should have found a way with Hayes. When he played more... we were better

Rockets might be sneakily okay this year. Not a 50 win team or anything but I could see them winning more than you may think.

Woj adds that only year 1 of the Landale contract is guaranteed.

Brooklyn continues shedding salary, Rockets get another vet guard
