    Yes. He is.

I'd rather just the reddit live thread or something that watch Stephen A Smith.

I know zero about Jordan Hawkins. Does this do anything for us? Is this just some guy we won't even remember drafting in two years?
I'm looking for real sports fans...not sheep! Are you with me?!!!

    He's no one-trick pony.

Can attack close outs now better than Trey could as a rookie. Can finish with either hand. Moves his feet on defense and isnt terrible there either.

But of course has the best pure stroke in this draft. Guarded or unguarded.

    Good pick Pels.

Just posted the ''welcome to the Pelicans'' thread for him, I'll have my notes on there soon.

Short story: electric movement shooter, absolutely brilliant at that. Puts in some effort on defense but isn't great. Has some handle, but hasn't really showed out with it yet. Will see if he can develop those skills - if he can, he's a great depth piece, if he can't he's a bit meh.

I had him in my ''23-30'' tier on my board.

It's a good class in fairness so it's not that bad - he's a better player than, say, Aaron Nesmith a few years ago! By far!

I always hope the best out of draft picks, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed he improves in the places he showed flashes.

You're asking the wrong person. dae dont like him. I've been touting him as a possible pick at 14 for a while now.

I've already posted about him. Let's just say you'll never see a better looking jump shot.

im happy with the pick....dude know how to move without the ball to get open for shots....

i guess he is another CJ on defense...

cj, trey and hawkins behind the 3pt line with BI and zion on the court running and gunning on offense....lets go

I?m just going to hope Hawkins is a late bloomer physically.

It's not that I don't like him, it's that I think there's a lot of opportunity cost to him. Players who are better overall, at this point, left on the board. It's not like Nesmith a few years ago where I thought he just sucked

Was hoping Keyonte would slide to Miami. Didnt want the Jazz or Lakers taking him. Yuck.

Would like to see us get back into the draft, maybe in the early 2nd. I feel like there's gonna be value there.

Don't know who caught it but straight from Woj's mouth on the broadcast...

--he couldn't find a single GM that was offered Zion in a trade

--the Pels tried to package 14 and some future picks to move up in this draft...found no takers.

I feel like the Lakers are gonna take Sensabaugh, his injury problems will clear up, and he'll be nuclear for them.

The second point there is interesting. Thanks for the update (not paying much attention to broadcasts rn)

Still a lot of talent left on the board, would be nice to see the Pels make an effort to get back into the draft. There's usually a pick or two for sale in the second round - we should know, we're usually selling them.

    Embarrassment of riches in GS.

Shooting was definitely a need so not a bad pick. To be honest we should be looking for two things. Depth that allows us to limit Zion and Bi’s minutes reasonably, and shooters to pair with Zion. We got both with that pick. Maybe we could luck out and find a big man in FA, but the draft is hella risky for big men. At least early doors anyways. Most of them need to fill out or need experience. Shooters are often useful early so I am optimistic that this guy can make us a legit 3 point threat with Trey

Trayce Jackson Davis might legit get picked ahead of Cam Whitmore.

    Wild.
