How does buying him out make no sense?
It's a possibility Griffin over values his assets which leads to no team taking JJ. A disgruntled JJ also stops playing time at the guard position with younger guys, which may lead to good practices of allowing JJ to go where he wants as a buyout option while giving more time to the younger guards. This can realistically happen
I'm aware of how things went.
Rich Paul did not force AD to want out. He didn't force AD to play badly (in fact, AD didn't play badly). He didn't force AD to sit (in fact, the opposite; he and AD leveraged the NBA itself to force us to play him).
Rich Paul is a player agent. He's an exceptionally good one, but that's what he is. He tries to get what his players want. If Bledsoe was dead-set on trying to make it work in New Orleans, Rich Paul would not - and could not - force him not to.
A lot of NBA fans have it in their mind that Rich Paul is somehow this puppet-master who runs the entire NBA behind the scenes and it's just not true.
Basketball.
Listen, if I can tell anyone anything that will help them in life it’s this: Do not follow Louisiana sports and become a die hard. The majority of the time you will be left in the fetal position wondering why it keeps happening. LSU is the latest team to block their own shot to stop themselves from winning a big game. It’s a curse!
