Wild that anyone can accuse you of wanting to crush Ingram when I exist.

I don't think he's going to be the full-time ballhandler for 36 minutes at his peak, but let's simmer down a bit on ''we don't have the guy'' talk at this point there lmao
Celtics getting away with a lot of reach ins and contact when he gets inside as well.

Again, Im not asking for Zion to be the full time ballhandler, but there has to be some middle ground between that and him just not getting the ball. He's your best offensive player (I hope we all agree on that), feed him.

Yeah, absolutely. I think 2 of his 3 turnovers have come on clear reaches, honestly, but you know the refs aren't really going to call that. At least not every game.

dude you know damn well im not with the ingram trade talk or ever accused you of it......you see zion head is not in the game and boston is in the paint.....zion should not have been running the offense at the end of the half the way the game was going....

I know we throw out stat lines when it suits us. Well who own this?

    4/1/1 three TO's; 20% shooting; -15

Celtics get touch foul calls.. Ingram and Zion absorb contact in the paint with no call..

I understand Boston is packing the paint on Zion, but honestly I'd be more comfortable with giving Zion the opportunity to try to learn to counter that strategy then I am with Ingram making haphazard decisions and throwing errant passes every other possession. Like, I like Ingram and think he's a max player, but I think at this point we should all realize he's just not suited for the role of primary playmaker. If we're gonna lose regardless, I'd rather use this game to try and foster Zion's furthered development. But that's just me.

I was telling you guys in the other game thread.. that most players aren't going to look good on offense trying to generate their own offense. Which is why part of the reason why Ingram has had some issues in the 4th.

You're now seeing Zion struggle a bit working one on one against Triston. The offensive sets aren't generating any open looks for him, or Ingram.

Which is why I maintain 75% of this is on coaching..

    Again.. Zion one on one..

And it's not his fault.. Players will wing it.. Iso, or run picks outside of structure. Or a lack of a system to run.

Not sure if this is the worst game of Zion's career thus far, at least a scorer, or if last year's Milwaukee game was worse. Roles are different so it's hard to compare.

Our guards can’t keep anyone in front of them

We do not have a single ''great'' defensive guard on the roster. Not one.
