Tatum, Brown, Smart and two first round picks is MUCH MUCH BETTER than LAKERS LANDFILL. Stop acting like Ingram and Ball are better than Tatum. Tatum isn’t good because of Brad Stevens. He’s good because he’s damn good period. I think some of y’all need to watch Tatum a little more and if you have watched a lot of Ingram and Tatum you will likely agree that any GM in this league would recognize Tatum is superior.

Unlike the Laker rookies, Tatum and Brown went into the playoffs as newbs, and they rocked it. No Irving. No Hayward. Took the Cavs to 7. That’s who I want. Team them up with a vet like Jrue (Jrue = Horford) and that is a rock solid trio.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

I want the PELS to resign Niko if possible, get Tatum, Brown and/orSmart and draft a pg or Center. Or both. Bol Bol looks very good. If he puts on weight he could be great. You also have that other center Bruno Fernando. Have y’all seen him? Damn! He’s really good. He’s Ibaka 2.0

Get a tough center and a solid PG and if we’re lucky we could get 3 players in the lotto.

Barrett or Morant would change this team. Add a great young center and we are gonna be back

I’m done with AD. We need Jrue to pair up with a pg who can shoot 3s and facilitate.

My point still stands. Why have they regressed once veterans were added and their role/responsibility reduced? That's the exact opposite of what we should expect.
Lol. This is the EXACT same thing that has happened to the Boston guys this year. Neither Tatum or Brown has shown the expected improvement over last year when Kyrie and Hayward were out. Brown has actually regressed.

Further, the Pelicans young guys look great now that Niko, Randle, and AD are out. Hmmm...

I agree. Tatum is superior. But it’s not by nearly as much as y’all are making it out to be.

Brown did have a slow start but he's been playing with three injuries this season including one to his shooting hand. He's played really well for a while now.

I'm not arguing about Tatum and all that my comments are specifically about the argument being if Ingram and Ball had reduced pressure they'd be better.

As far as our players go they never got consistent minutes while we were trying to win. Now they are actually getting run and looking good.

So again, instead of trying to look for an excuse to distract away from Ingram and Ball, "Bu Bu But these players over here have regressed too..."

Answer the question I've been trying to discuss this entire time. If someone truly believes the issue with Ingram and Ball are based on the fact that they were the main focus of other teams and had all of the pressure, etc... Why have they regressed this year when there's veterans now to get rid of those issues?

I don’t think I’ve ever argued that Ball and Ingram had problems because they were the main focus of other teams or had all of the pressure, so I can’t answer that. I think Ball and Ingram have actually played well for 2 young guys. Expectations of some may have been higher that they would be more transformative sooner, but I’m not in the camp calling them disappointments.

I’ve already said Tatum is better. I’ve already said BOS/NYK have packages I prefer. If you’re waiting for some agreement that Ball/Ingram are laughable assets, it’s never coming because I’ve seen them play going back to college and their first couple years in the league and I absolutely disagree. Nothing you can say will convince me otherwise after playing and watching bball for 30 years lol!

    Good talk. Agree to disagre.

Then why did you reply to my comment which was me talking to someone entirely different?

My comment was literally below Mista who I was talking.

If I could take any deal I would take Brown Tatum and Smart and a draft pick but I don’t think the five Laker players vs the three Celtic players are as far apart as others

now a espn reporter has a report out saying a inside tip is saying that AD dad said what many players and personnel were saying privately that boston didnt show loyalty to thomas.... they were saying that if boston did that to a guy who played through injuries and the death of his sister then they will do it to anybody....basically saying that players dont trust danny...

something like this may up boston trade pieces to us...

Or Kyrie could just bounce to NY, knowing they have space and assets to build around him. Who knows... waiting until June/July is a crapshoot. And I know crapshoots!

Brown has actually been better and more efficient than he was during last years playoff run.

FWIW - NYK could trade DSJ to us before the deadline, the trade would just have to be broken into two trades.

    Something like...

Kanter/Ntilikina/Dotson/Knox/Robinson and all the picks for AD/Clark/Frazier .... Trade 1

DSJ for Darius .... Trade 2

    Perfectly legal before the deadline.

Unless the NBA sees it as part of a bigger move. Possible. But we might have to send something more valuable back for the NBA to approve.

We could send out a fake 2nd, but I doubt seriously Silver is going to repeat David Stern by vetoing New Orleans trying to trade its Superstar to a large market. That would be funny though!

Have you ever seen the NBA veto one of those type trades (where they are broken into 2 trades because of aggregation rules)?
