I was really looking forward to watching him develop under Pops. Most of the rest of his team choked after Kawhi went down.

Spurs bleeding talent this off-season. Parker coming off a major injury. Manu potentially retiring. Dedmond and Simmons jumping ship. Both Lee and Gasol still FA's to boot.

They'll need significant improvement from young guys in order to stay a true contender in the West imo.

Of course, every year is the year the Spurs get too old.

I'm still curious if Evan Fournier is on the market.

Maybe, but probably not for what we have to offer. He would be a really nice fit though.

As a fall back, I would think Hezonja would come cheaply. He would be a bench project player, but still young enough to warrant a shot.

Yeah but he wasn't going to turn down that guaranteed money

Probably right, though a Fournier-Vucevic trade was my #1 preferred deal before Boogie. I still would rather have them, I think. Cleaner fit, though Cousins is a stud.

Hezonja is interesting. Are Magic ready to pull the plug on him already?

LA needs to come to grips with reality soon and I mean soon. He is not the man on any team in this league anymore except maybe Brooklyn and good look with NY media eating his sensitive behind ALIVE

They asked LA to be the man in the playoffs (after KL went down). Nobody is going to take LA seriously now. He would have better served staying in Portland.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

No further discussion on Jackson? Competition for Rondo. Knicks call off trade with Melo to reconsider. Would love to hear some good news. I think Diallo and Cooks were positives in summer league.

Diallo will make asik and ajinca expendable if he continues to play like this

It's NOT Diallo that makes Asik expendable. A 7'0 blow up doll would make Asik expendable

haha. Honestly, any player capable of stepping on the court makes him expendable. I wish the dude well but after last year I don't know how long it may be before he plays NBA basketball again.

Man I really wish we could make this move. Fournier or Middleton would be perfect fits here and I think both are available. We have the assets but I'm sure we don't wanna give up to much. He's a good passer as well which is nice to have at the SG position. Reminds of a mix between Klay/Manu. He would thrive here being the 4th option instead of the main focus when teams play the Magic.

Yea, me too. Mo Speights would be awesome in that 3rd big role, Diaw and T. Robinson would also be good fits.

Middleton isn't available, nor should he be.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
