This reminds me of when someone tried to make the argument that D-Mo was a good three-point shooter because he shoots better from long range than the average C. That was a silly argument. Just as this is a silly argument. You either can shoot or you can't. Positional analysis is irrelevant. Mythrol is correct. Jrue shoots 2% higher from three than the average player. That's more than sufficient to demand attention from the perimeter, which in turn, allows AD and Cousins to operate with more space.
