Murray is improving at a fast and impressive rate. I think if he shows out in the tournament he will move in the top 5 projection. I had a nightmare that we selected Jaylen Brown, I want NO part of Aminu 2.0. Players with character traits of not playing hard or over athletic is a huge flag IMO.

    My new mock:

    1. Lakers-Simmons
    2. Phx- Ingram
    3. Philly- Heild
    4.Bos- Brown
    5.N.O- Murray

I think management choose Murray over Dunn. Idk why but I think the only way Dunn becomes a Pel if we trade Jrue and another player package for another pick:

    Alternative

    5.NO- Dunn
    6. Denver- Bender
    7. Via trade with Milwaukee (Jrue+ Evans+ Future first top 12 protected) NO- Murray or Poeltl

    I'll post another scenario later

I'm starting to warm up to a Jrue and Murray backcourt. Where do I sign?

Guys I love Dunn but he's super injury prone

    1-6

Murray, Dunn, Luwawu I'll be happy with either of those 3.

This kid can Shoot, rebound, pass, and his defense is not to shabby at 18. He is avg 5 rebounds as a guard. He has a killer instinct and is an assassin at 18. I've seen comparisons from Wes Matthews, to EG before injuries, but I truly believe this kid is the next Brandon Roy.

Jrue Murray AD nucleus is pretty nice to think about. I still think management either grabs another pick int the late teens/twenties but if Dell is still here we trade our pick smh

If Luwawu is there at the 15 spot, would you trade with a team like like Chicago teen pick for Evans and a future first?

I think he's going top 10 he's already top 12 but once the combine comes. I think he soars up but if he was around I do that in a heartbeat. But I don't see chicago doing that its more like with a team like Denver to trade 6 for 15 and 17.

I know good and well that I'm in the minority, but I feel that someone is going to have to show a little patience with Simmons... he has some rarified skills for a big man, but he needs more work on certain fundamentals....this draft should be a fun one....

Coach Cal felt confident enough in Murray's defense to put him on Simmons and he did a pretty good job.

Is he really 6'4" He looks 6'7" at moments.

I see Simmions being a super Draymond. He's a of in today's league and to have him playing next to AD would be amazing.

I rather have Jamal Murray TBH. Murray is a great scorer and he has that killer instinct. Everybody knows that to succeed in this league you have to have a guard that can take over games and Murray can do that. Averaging 20-5-2 and he just turned 19.

No way Murray isn't in Simmions universe but I think if we stay @ 6 we can get him. Ben, gram, Bender, Brown, Dunn, Murray.

Murray can score yeah, but we've seen plenty of scoring guards before. Simmons has the potential to be something we've only ever really seen once before (Magic Johnson).
Hey @okcthunder - you guys suck! Our top players are hurt. Some are dead. Some don't even like basketball. And we still kicked y'all's asses!- @TheFakeMonty

We have also seen plenty of players that can't shoot struggle. Simmons can't shoot and he is averaging 9FTA per game in college. He isn't going to get those calls in the NBA. IMO Simmons is actually going to struggle a bit.

Says you. If he throws himself wildly to the rim, no. But Simmons can do some slashing. He'll get fouled plenty.

We have also seen plenty of players that can't shoot learn. AD couldn't shoot when he came into the league.

True, but I just feel like Murray is the better fit for us.

Assuming we get 6th pick or better I'm really glad we'll have one of either Murray or Hield available, would be satisfied with either.

People salivating over Dunn and Heild yet Ingram isn't impressive. Kid is a freshman shooting better then KD did from 3. Has the skill set to do it all with a ridiculous wingspan and great height. If it wasn't for Simmons being a rare rare talent he is clearly the best player in this draft. Let him play a few more years like Dunn. What was Dunn doing as a freshman. Would love to know what doesn't impress you with Ingram except just throwing out he won't be that good because you just feel that way watching a game or two.

Yea when I first started watching him I thought he was a SF until I saw his listed height. If he does measure in around 6'6 then he becomes much more valuable to me. He just doesn't look 6'4 to me either.

How many players do we see that can't shoot also have the other skill sets that Simmons does? He will still defend at an elite level, an elite rebounder, gets to the rim at an elite level, and only handful of people have ever had his passing and handling skill set at that size. He can impact the game all over the court even if he isn't scoring. Giannis isn't a great shooter and he still has huge impacts on games which I think is Simmons floor. He can also impact a game similiar to Draymond Green without needing to score. The kid is special and if he ever does develop a shot he could be one of the best players ever. He is that good and going to be an exciting player to watch.

Agreed and it is a little unfortunate he went to LSU in retrospect because he wasted a whole year with inferior coaching and training talent.

Had he gone to, say, Kentucky, I think we would be seeing some solid growth in his game at this point like we tend to from most of the major Kentucky prospects as the year goes on.

I'd like a trade down with Toronto. If they end up with 9 and 27 would they take 6 if there is a player they like?
