Still hope you'll be as often as possible online on this board. I mean, delete twitter or threaten idiots with a big club, you'd be sorely missed if you stopped coming here altogether (speaking for myself, but i think there's a good number of people who think the same way. Hell, you had one lurker register on this board just to ask you to stay!)
    Wait that was MM?!?

My mind has been sufficiently blown.

I'd hate to lose MM diligence and insight, but would completely understand and respect a decision to step away. When something is a passion and it's no longer rewarding something has to change.

This is partially what I'm afraid of. While the level of discussion around here has been great the last few years, I fear that to some extent it will revert back without someone like MM who has the knowledge to keep all the rest of us informed and to help keep the ridiculous trade ideas in check.

Find this hard to believe that no one would trade for him... maybe they spelled Eric Gordon wrong!

I am a total novice when it comes to thoroughly understanding how NBA coaches and GM'?s think and operate.... what I do grasp is that MM provides better information and insight than I could ever have imagined and it makes me is bit nauseous too think people like this are treated so unjustly..... we need the glue to bind us here, and besides that, there is no way he can just up and leave after using the term "nothing" in a cryptic message and not be referring to Gordon.... that's just totally unfair....

MM...is this bogus? It just makes zero sense to lose Rivers, MLE, and BAE.

I think Lebron needs to check up our message board, he would have still had a better chance of getting another ring with MIA than the cavs, but I guess he felt it was time to go home.

Also, that's how octopi talk. They squibber. Yes, it's a word. Shut up.

Is that just an option we might have to take that a source is speculating on or something we actually are considering?

    How you figure?

Irving / Waiters / Lebron / Bennett / Varejao / Thompson / Wiggins ... and then if they somehow reel in Kevin Love..

The former, imo. I sincerely hope not the latter.

Honestly, aside from one or two relatively new people, I would say the basketball on this IQ is almost at the level of the guys I know who work in the league. I would bring almost anybody onto this board into a conversation with those guys and not be worried about getting embarrassed. Go to literally any other board and see if you can say the same.

Hey MM how come I can't see your tweets anymore?

Lebron is getting PAID by going to Cleveland. Those people and the endorsements that he is going to get is equal to going to New York. He's world wide now, he's resurrected from his one public blemish. Lebron will be the biggest athlete in the world by the season.

He still would've had a better chance in NO, though :P

He's basically retiring from Twitter due to harassment. Well, I'm not sure 'harassment' is the right word, but let's go with that for now until someone can think of a more accurate word.

We have considered it for over a week now. But it is not the likely outcome.

I have a twitter account I don't think I've ever sent out a tweet in my life. There so many great things about the internet that has made "regular" people so much more informed twitter IMO isn't one of them.

I know Rivers had a rough rookie season, but it's hard to believe he has no value. This would be a complete salary dump.

Only guys I really like there with Lebron are Irving and Varejo, I think they could have signed another all-star in MIA and went on another run.

Pressure is on Irving IMO to see if he can step up in the playoffs, and Wiggins could be a defensive stopper for them, but I think it would be best for his future to get traded to another team where he can develop at a slower pace.

Anyhoo best leave this talk for another thread, 52 pages...

This place is pretty weird i just want to get pelicans news and fan opinions not interested in bloggers ego stroking.

  24. #1299
Stretching Rivers really is a worst case scenario. He's a 2yrs removed top 10 pick that they are not only going to dump for nothing but also lose the MLE and BAE in the process.

This is just another way that EG contract has messed up the team and this falls directly on Dell's head. Yes, it's an improvement for the team to get Asik but at what close? I'll wait till all the trade details come out on Sunday. But this news is disheartening if true.

Come on and just stretch Gordon already
