Kurt Rambis, (A.C. Green and Byron Scott were far from "Greats") / Bill Cartwright, John Paxson, BJ Armstrong, Ron Harper, Luc Longely/Bill Wennington...

    Too Easy...

    1. Size and Strength at 6'8 250. Unlike any athlete the NBA has ever seen. More on this later.

    2. Versatility. Michael was a ball dominant, scoring wing. His game was predicated on getting his and putting the defense in impossible positions and burning them when they over committed. Because of his greatness, teams had to be built specifically around what he did well. LeBron James has a game that resembles some sort of weird hybrid between Magic, Pippen, Bird, Jordan, and Dr. J. and that leads us to his...

    3. Flexibility. LeBron because of his unique size and strength could've credibly guarded Barkley, Malone, Kemp, Nance, Mason, Mashburn, Mourning, Horace Grant, Coleman, Vin Baker or any other oversized 3, traditional 4, or undersized 5. Jordan could not and the composition of his championship squads reflect this. Jordan needed role players to fit around his greatness. LeBron's greatness is that it can change depending on his supporting cast.

    4. Personality. Michael was relentless. James is accommodating. Michael was demanding. James takes what you can offer. Michael held grudges (read his HOF Speech). LeBron has never had teammate who wasn't his best friend (except Delonte West lol).

AC Green. Now there was a virgin who could play some games injury free.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

I gave you your argument. Whether you think it's true or not or even whether I do is irrelevant. I've successfully debunked this "bull----" comment, to borrow a quote from you.

Fair enough. This is an argument. Just not a very good one. Do you really believe he's better than Jordan?

    To recap:

    Can't compare stats across eras

Please qualify your statements. You believe its a stats based argument. FIFY.

Where's the non-stats based argument? Back up your bull----

Where's the stat's based argument for bird then

    Owned

Michael was relentless and Lebron can guard Vin Baker! see I argued!

See this is the problem with forums. You think you "owned" me when i was legitimately asking you a question. Well if that's true, Defensive Mind "owned" you, whatever the hell that means.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

That's actually my fault. I thought I was talking to the same person, so I thought he asked your question, waited for my response, then ignored it when I had a good response and focused on the other side.... So I did answer your question honestly and that wasn't directed at you... I was just confused. Can we still be friends? I have soda.

Don't think Melo would help the team I'm watching tonight win a championship. Looks like D'Wade, Bosh and Allen are coasting to a 3-1 deficit. Question is why would Lebron stay with this team when he can take his talent to a team that want's to win?

Bring on Melo. That would ensure that the Heat would never win another title.

If we take Kobe, MJ, Bird (1 of my fav players ever), or Magic and put them in Cleveland, how many championships would the Cavs have today? I say that they would have same amount as they do now. Zero. All of those guys played with HOFers. Name the HOFers from the LBJ Cavs. I'll wait.

Fwiw, LBJ is better than Bird. I don't even think that it's debatable and Larry Legend was my favorite player in the 80's
Ironically enough just a week or two ago First Take was having this exact discussion about Bird and LBJ. The conclusion was if you have another sharpshooter on the team you take LBJ. If you don't you take Bird.

I'm guessing that's a Prime Bird vs. Prime LBJ for just a season? If so, that sounds about right.... Man, the old man should've just suited up for the pacers this playoffs.
