    But that's a #1 option type player.

I really want the Heat's reign to end... I'm sick & tired of this crew... I'm sad to see the Spurs lost home court tonight

"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin

Hmmm. Not to certain that's what a #1 option does. Taking a shot with no time left on the clock, that's what your clutch guy does. Wade and Ray Allen take those shots more often than LBJ, are they the heats #1 option? Maybe in that circumstance, but not overall. Leonard got bogged down with pf's (refs can only not assess fouls to so many guys a game, and Leonard hasn't received that benefit).
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

I dunno. I watched LBJ hit multiple end of shot clock jumpers tonight. I've seen AD call for the ball and hit the game winner. I've watched great players turn bad plays into points. I didn't see Leonard do that once tonight. He still got 32 minutes tonight.

Besides it wasn't just end of shot clock hail Mary's. Multiple times he got the ball, opted to put it on the floor, and failed horribly.

I guess we will see next game.

    I guess so.

I know that everyone is pulling for the Spurs but if it were not fr LBJ leaving the game early, ths series would be 2-0 Heat
The most overused words on Pelicansreport.com. Wrongly, I might add.

ELITE - (often used with a plural verb) the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons.

GREAT - notable; remarkable; exceptionally outstanding

These words should not be used lightly

Precisely. Spurs had it won before he left. People just using it as an excuse, along with the A/C crap.

Don't know what game you were watching but that game was not won before LBJ left the game. The Spurs went on the run after he left the game.

Uptown, honestly does it matter? What happened is what happened. It's 1 to 1 and hopefully a great series.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Not many games are won w 7 minutes left ; but the game was won when the final buzzer sounded .

The Spurs went 14/16 overall and 6/6 from 3pt in the 4th. LBJ played just under half of the 4th quarter. Him playing might have made it closer but they would have still lost. But like I said at the time odds were that they weren't going to stay that hot and they didn't. Instead LBJ had a chip on his shoulder and took over the game at the end. Also those 4 straight missed FT's were HUGE.

What ifs are useless. Did it actually happen? No, it didn't. We live in a world where the Spurs have 1 win and the Heat have 1 win. Nothing else matters.

it really doesn't. Just sparking a conversation that doesn't include preposterous trade scenarios and EG bashing.

I can also say that the LBJ missed ft was huge or take back that meaningless 3 that made the game a 2pt loss.

I'm not trying to claim the Spurs would have won, as I already said LBJ came out with a chip on his shoulder and took over. But obviously if they had made the FTs that 3 wouldn't have been meaningless.

Spurs will take game 3. BANK ON IT.

If Duncan started shooting like Stephan Curry this series would easily be 2-0 Spurs.

If LBJ was MJ the Heat would have won it all by now.

Kawhi Leonard looks great tonight. They need a big night from him to win one in Miami.

  21. #796
He is doing well, but it's to be expected. Tonight Pops is putting it on him.

The Spurs with 41 in the first. WOW.

  23. #798
Yea I had a very good feeling the spurs were gonna come out strong this game and take home court right back, they are the better TEAM.

  24. #799
This might be the most spectacular display of shooting ever

I can't remember the last time I saw Miami get beat down like this.
