Who is begging? Again I think some of us are just confused as to why he wouldn't try to help his player, or anything. Nothing to do with thinking he will sway the tide.

You mean when Monty had Omeka instead of Chandler and Carl Landry instead of David West (Because of injury). Ah okay. cool.

I think Monty could of said something along the lines of ",yea Anthony has def an all star type of year but I don't decide if he goes or not we can leave that up to the other coaches" just something promoting his guy. But I'm not upset he didn't. Doesn't really matter anyway.

How does it hurt, seriously? And again for the 3rd or 4th time now, no one cares if it would or would not help, it's the fact that he wouldn't try.

Even Zach Lowe see this teams schemes are a mess and it come from coaching not players stop giving that man excuses

There was no drop off from west to Landry. Tbh Landry stepped up and handled his business and Okafor was solid man. Chandler avg 11-11 while Okafor avg 10-10. From top to bottom Monty had the much better roster.

David West played 70 games that year. Are you really trying to play the injury card with that? By that token it's even worse now for Monty, He had Chris Paul for 80 games, the year before CP3 missed half the season.....still had the worse record.

Monty isn't the sole cause of our failures, but he is definately a factor. I can understand what Monty is think with his defensive scheme: he wants to utilize his players to their fullest capacity. The problem with that: I'm not sure we have the personnel to defend his way quite yet. The areas where Monty grinds my gears: rotations, game management, and offensive production. Now that everyone is injured, we can't fairly evaluate him and it sucks. From what I saw though, we really struggled to build any chemistry on offense. The ball didn't move, players were running like headless chickens, and our shot selection was abysmal. Is that Monty's fault? I cannot say for sure, but having seen him here for four years I would not be surprised if he was a culprit.

Side note: Balls- your sig is so funny. All I have to say is it made me giggle like a school girl.

You pointed out the Playoff record. I pointed out that West and Chandler were missing from the playoff run that year. That's all I said.

It's the fact that he wouldn't even try to help is the issue.

If Monty isn't going to have his player's back why would they have his? No one knows ADs feelings but what if this really meant a lot to him? It's a shame his coach wouldn't do anything.
I thought sure I heard Hale say last night or maybe it was the game before that Monty was going to get on the phone to talk up AD to other coaches. Is that what you all are talking about? Monty says AD deserves to at least be a backup so why wouldn't he make mention of him to other coaches? I thought that's what I heard her say. Maybe not though.

Ahhh I see where the misinterpretation was. "CP3 playoff run" != W/L record during the playoffs.

I was referring to the time span Chris Paul was here where we were in the playoffs.

Minus what u pointed out it's still more impressive what Scott did in the reg season and playoffs. Monty had a lot of nice pieces to work with Scott had a joke of a roster compared to what Monty had.

Agree. Putting Rita in control would be like putting Chad Shinn in control of the franchise. I have to wonder about something though

Okay nevermind, I see in an article he said he wouldn't be calling coaches. I must have heard Hale say something else then.

Oh I agree, but there are other factors that needed to be considered. Was just pointing them out.

We all, at least I am, referring to the post on page 3 that said it was reported "Monty will not campaign to get Davis in the All-Star Game"
