Also, there was a GREAT example earlier in this game. He passes on a 3, drives to the corner, slightly behind the basket and takes a deep two. It was nothing but net, but it was a terrible shot that just so happened to go down.

The difference here is that I NEVER said it was a good shot. I don't hate on players who make their shots. You clearly do.

Tony Delk once scored 50 points. I'd hardly say that means he's a great scorer.

    Or scorer period.

So tell me this then. Who's minutes is he gonna take during the season out of Evans, Rivers, Holiday, or Gordon?

You're shortsightedness is something to marvel at.

And the point here is that him makeing 4/5 from the field doesn't automatically mean he's taking smart shots.

I'm not saying we have to rely on him for a huge role. I'm not an idiot. You give me an option between Jrue and Tyreke or Roberts, I'm obviously taking Jrue and Reke.

They're trying to make Rivers the backup guard because he has loads of talent but he's still young. Roberts is a good filler to have until Rivers reaches his potential.

You're taking me out of context. I think he's a good player, and obviously with the guys we have now, I don't think he'd do much. But Roberts is an NBA player and can be a serviceable backup in this league. Saying he's awful just because everyone else does is sad.

He isn't that's the point. and yet, people still get their panties in a bunch when it comes to Roberts.

he's still only 20, i'll say it 100 times, once he gets some strength, unstopable.
That and a pull up jumper

Not calling Roberts a star passer. Just saying the guy can pass the ball, and he's not a ball hog. Aside from that game he's shown that he can pass the ball and set people up.

Well I can agree with this statement then. I took it out of context!

I haven't seen that since Duke.

Your claim was that they were bad shots. They may not have been the best shots BUT they were not necessarily bad shots. Original points still stand.

Brockman is really starting to make his height concerns irrelevant.

Al-Farouq sure does seem to be into this game. He's always standing up saying something.

Why can't Miller just shoot from behind the line doesn't make sense

I'm not explaining myself ad nauseum.

Roberts has poor shot selection and a tendency for tunnel vision.
