Have we hit a three pointer yet.
I feel like we haven't.
Roberts is 4-5 and people are complaining about his shot selection... Hilarious.
Darius Miller and Brian Roberts really take some terrible shots, they take this one extra dribble to go in front of the three point line and take so many long two's. Those are the worst shots in the game based on distance, percentage, and points scored... Really aggravates me.
If Rivers can finish consistently when he drives, then he will be unstoppable
Not his shot selection the way he plays. Guy gets the ball backs up a few feet from half court in the center, puts his hand up basically saying I'm shooting. Dribbles some more and runs to s spot then shoots. I was a fan of Roberts hoping he would eventually become more of a passer and creator. Guy does absolutely nothing except look for his own shot and kill a offense. He is easily one of the most frustrating players I have ever watched.
If denver dosent want that green kid i say we cut roberts for him or ask to swap!! Roberts is just terrible!
I think austin might be able to crossover anyone in the league lol.
he's still only 20, i'll say it 100 times, once he gets some strength, unstopable.
Just because a shot goes down doesn't mean it was a good shot to take.
?????? Seriously? Lol.
I don't understand what everyone's obsession is with bashing Brian Roberts. He's a solid player. He's shown that he can play smartly last year, and now in the Summer League, where keep in mind is battling for a job, continues to play well and make shots, yet "he's playing awful."
You people amuse me. It's really funny.
Brian Roberts is new Jannero Pargo. If his shot isn't falling, he's worse than useless.
He's detrimental.
But for the most part, his shot does fall.
Yes he is definitely a SG in a PG body which puts the ball in his hand by default to much. If we would somehow instill a past first mentality in him and run an offense he mite actually be ok as a last guard and end of bench guy. I'm more willing to give Pierre Jackson that shot at being the end of bench guy and a more willing passer who could be a spark plug.
Just because you think it's a good shot doesn't mean it's a good shot either.
Also, there was a GREAT example earlier in this game. He passes on a 3, drives to the corner, slightly behind the basket and takes a deep two. It was nothing but net, but it was a terrible shot that just so happened to go down.
You are correct! Once he develops some strength and just a little better of a shot he will be tough to stop. I for one don't think his shot will get a little better I think it will drastically change. I wish Rivers was only 6'8 and give us that SF haha then he would be amazing and unstoppable but i'm ok with him now.
