he's only 20 and a project, hes gonna take 2 more years to be ready to start anyway. by then gordon will prob be traded, tyreke or rivers starts and the other off the bench.

    Until Gordon's injury.

    Well this doesn't seem plausible.
    In Dell we trust

The sim is every other day. You have to set your dc for every sim. Just say same if you don't want to change anything.

when i saw this i thought we were trading gordon for jimmy butler, then realized it was caron.

  14. #1114
Sounds like spec, but he did say "3-way" deal. Meaning Bledsoe probably gets routed elsewhere. We'd probably keep Caron.

USA Today reported the deal could be worth as much as $48 million if Evans meets certain incentives.
Are we on the hook for 40 or the entire 48 (cap-wise)?

  16. #1116
    Well which one is it?

I know next to nothing about incentive deals and what not, but logically you'd assume that we're only guaranteeing him the 40. But if he meets the requirments he could get the whole 48. I like it. If the requirments are substantial enough, he'd be worth that kind of scratch.

How would the 3-way trade go down?

    Clippers get: Gordon, Vasquez
    Pelicans get: Tyreke, Caron Butler
    Sacramento gets: Bledsoe, Jordon

What else would need to be involved?

I mean one could assume if he gets to the 48 it's been well worth it.

Is it within the CBA rules to sign-and-trade a player in a 3-way deal? But I like the premise for sure

Not sure, I took it as an independent 3 way for Gordon, with Bledsoe getting moved for a different asset.

  22. #1122
IMO, if they pay this kind of money for Tyreke to come off the bench it says alot about the teams belief in Austin Rivers.

I have a gut feeling we're trading Gordon for Deng. Chicago signed Dunleavey AND drafted Snell, two SFs to go along with Butler. We apparently stopped taking offers for Gordon. I don't know, cap works, and the fit makes sense with Evans and what they've got. I've just got a weird feeling about this.

Only reason the team is dancing around Tyreke's role is because they don't have him locked up yet. Until they lock him or another SG up, they aren't going to mention the SG role on the team. If this falls through, or they can't sign the replacement they want, they may decide to keep Eric Gordon, and who the hell wants a pouty Eric Gordon to start the season?!?

As soon as Tyreke or Kevin Martin is a Pelican, EG is gone. GUARANTEED.

I'll say this for the 34th time... Gordon to Chicago. Deng to Cleveland. Karasev to Pelicans.

    Boom.
