CP Situation: If your company is poorly run for years and you feel you are getting nowhere in your career wouldn't you demand changes or look elsewhere? But somehow people took it personally and hate the guy. Say what you want, but CP played his a** of here for years. I have no problems with him.

I also think that's a great point. The old regime was catching guys on the way out. Look at the age of all these guys. Relatively successful and very young with much room to grow. If we stay healthy we will be a team to watch in the years to come.

Nice call I actually didn't know that about Redick. I'd still take Evans in that department since I think I can safely assume he gets a lot more volume there, but that's a good point on Redick's behalf.

64% at the rim is pretty elite, though. Tony Parker's one of the best in the league and he's about at 67. Russell Westbrook is about 59-60 IIRC.

Not only that but most of his shots at the rim is most likely cutting to the basket for a pass or in transition. I don't think anyone would mistake Riddick for a guy who break down defenses off the dribble and getting to the rack.

So? Pelicans don't need more athleticism (that's the most overrated part of the game, BTW - almost every draft bust is because GMs look only on athleticism), but more shooting (spacing) and defense. Redick is better than Evans in both.
