Lol, I mean it's simple. I think people lose sight that these are people with jobs.

CP Situation: If your company is poorly run for years and you feel you are getting nowhere in your career wouldn't you demand changes or look elsewhere? But somehow people took it personally and hate the guy. Say what you want, but CP played his a** of here for years. I have no problems with him.

Tyreke: (Cost of living excluded) How much would it take to get you to accept a job in North Dakota? A lot more than one in Miami, right? Same thing here. I know NO is no ND, but in the realm of the NBA we might as well be. We have to overspend sometimes, period.

We also have the exception of all exceptions....

Benson. Who appears to be green lighting this whole "win now" movement and probably wouldn't mind some luxury tax to get this rebrand thing sped up to warp speed to make himself look better and get the nasty Hornets taste out the city's mouth from the past few years.

Nothing convinced me of this more than being the only team... i repeat ONLY team to trade their 2014 1st rounder. He's going balls deep.

Side note... I'll take 1 Tyreke. Age 23 model for 4 years at $44 over:

Morris Peterson age 29 4 years at 23 million

    AND

James Posey age 31 4 years at 25 Million.

    Just some food for thought...

I also think that's a great point. The old regime was catching guys on the way out. Look at the age of all these guys. Relatively successful and very young with much room to grow. If we stay healthy we will be a team to watch in the years to come.

You bring up 2 of the worst FA signings we have had. I would think most would take anything over that.

64% at the rim is pretty elite, though. Tony Parker's one of the best in the league and he's about at 67. Russell Westbrook is about 59-60 IIRC.
You guys do realize that most of his shots at the rim are probably when it's wide open. He is not going in there with traffic.

Not only that but most of his shots at the rim is most likely cutting to the basket for a pass or in transition. I don't think anyone would mistake Riddick for a guy who break down defenses off the dribble and getting to the rack.

As a 6th man I'll take it, although I'm not sure that we shouldn't spend that money on a guy(s) who fits the team better.

One thing is for sure we would have a lot of talent tho

Yeah but they all can create for them and others, that's what I like. Offense comes from everywhere !

"We not stopping at no stores man ! We staying on the gas !" - Tyreke Evans

    If its 40 million I'm ok with it, 44 I'm upset, 48 I'm pissed.

64% at rim. That's not super elite. And Redick is better here too: 66%
    BAHAHA Credibility lost.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Guess we are trying to get something for him instead of out right cutting him. I'm pretty sure every other GM knows this and I don't expect much back if anything.

That'd be a fun stat if it were true.
