I hate that we think Evans is anything more than a 6-8 million dollar player. We will take the good work we did with Jrue and destroy it with Evans at that price.

11 mill a year is still a little high to me.
"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Per the offer, numbers often get bloated when coming from player side. Was later told $44 million; could be more with incentives etc. Big #

Ugh this is horrifying.
soooo now after we sign tyreke all we gotta do is trade gordon and our 2015 1st rounder for paul george
jrue
tyreke
george
ryno
davis
championship
So don't worry guys, it sounds like Evans' camp is trying to inflate the numbers to put media pressure on Demps. I would go with the originally reported 4 years/$40 million. Incentives could bring it to $44 million.
I will be content with 40. Slightly concerned at 44. Mad at 48.
RT @SportBlogNYC: BREAKING: Tyreke Evans agrees to a four-year/$44M with the New Orleans Pelicans. The Kings are not expected to match the offer.

Idk if true just posting
10 million a year for a 6"6 guard with lightning handles, great passer, good rebounder, incredible finisher and an improving jumpshot? yall are nuts
Blergh. That's an awful lot of scratch for a guy that has seen his game regress since he won R.O.Y. Now, was that because of a lack of talent or being in a dysfunctional organization?
In Dell We Trust I suppose....
the Legend has spoken!
no, I'm saying defensively he was pretty much the same and offensively he was better, therefore being better overall.
I mean yeah, he'd struggle against Dwight, but in that situation I'd just have Anderson on Dwight and I'm not going to get too worried about an offense being run through Dwight Howard instead of James Harden or Steph Curry or whoever signs with.
So... He is done whoring himself out? Is this confirmed?
I think we could live with 4/40, anything more than that is just ridiculous.
I think it's too much, but welcome to the life of a small market team. You have to overpay potential or "headcases" and hope the player reaches said potential or mature.
Guys, his PER was good enough for 5th amongst all SG's. Behind only Dwayne Wade, Kobe Bryant, James Harden and Manu Ginobili. And he's 6'6 and 23 years old. I can only assume the Kings are a big reason this guy gets awfully underrated.
