No, that would be a bargain. What 78 is posting is reasonable.

Yeah I think it will take 36 million to get him. I'm fine with 36 million. Anything above is a stretch if we want to add more depth (which we really don't right now if we keep Smith, Aminu, Miller, and Rivers off the bench)

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Considering he could just sign his QO and make the same amount in year 1 as pelicansfan's contract suggestion; I agree with you I think 4-36 to 4-40 will be the range we need to snag him. Lets not forget he is restricted people (not you).

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I don't see how anyone would not want to add someone as talented as Tyreke Evans! This dude put up 20-5-5 on a horrible team. Imagine what he can do on a good team and not be surrounded by knuckle heads like Cousins & Thornton. We have never had someone with his talent on this team. It's not like he can't shoot it! When Andre Iguodala was 23 he couldn't shoot it at all and I wouldn't confuse him with a sharp shooter at 29. He shot better from 3 last year than Iggy did and got to line more. When he did get to the line, he shot it way better than Iggy. Reke scored 17.6 ppg on 45% to Iggy's 13.3 ppg on 46%. Reke shot 34% for 3 and Iggy shot 32%. Reek shot 78% from the line and Iggy shot 57%

    Iggy: 5.8 boards, 4.9 assists, 1.7 steals
    Reke: 4.8 boards, 4.8 assists, 1.4 steals

Dammit, he can't go up to 40 million! I guess he could since I gave James Posey 4 years 37 million to average 5 ppg off the bench....

If we can keep Smith, Aminu, Miller, and Rivers and offer Tyreke 40 million then I'm cool with that.

Honestly, it goes from 4-36 at 9
Per year to 4-40 and 10 per year. Not that big of a difference.

I agree. Question can we offer him the 4 year 40 without having to option out of Lopez and Smith. I still want Lopez back and Smith off the bench and would love to bring back Aminu off the bench with Miller and Rivers. Don't care about losing Vasquez. Hopefully we dump off his salary somewhere. I think still we're gonna have to cut bait on Lopez to get Tyreke and I think its worth it.
