Understandable, but then again who matches up well with Durant? Against superstars like him and Lebron and such its a lot more about team defense than one on one D.

So Evans and Gordon and Holiday on the court at the same time? 3 ball dominate players? Meh. Please I don't want Reke.

I'm more worried about the contract at this point more than the fit. Getting good players on good contracts is never a bad thing, even if the fit is questionable. Overpaying questionable fits is always a bad thing.

All of them are capable of playing offball. Evans is the weakest of the 3 playing in offball situations, but he has shown a lot of improvement this year.

who can guard KD though... he's more than adequate at guarding most NBA small forwards. He's quick, strong, descent length, better than Pierce and Bazz physically. You worry about his help defense and maybe his rebounding though.

There's a difference between being ball dominant and having to carry a team. All three played on awful teams for the past 2 years (unless you think the 2012 6ers were good) and had to shoulder the load for their respective team. None have ever been on a team with another player who can create his own shot and create shots for others so we really have no idea how they would coexist. Personally I would be more than happy to take that risk.

I agree, but I hope this regime has learned from the previous ones horrible spending habits... I hope.

Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh. 3 ball dominant players. I'm just saying. In no where do they compare to the level of those players, but ball dominant players can coexist.

Why do people think Jrue and Gordon are ball dominant. Both excelled in off the ball roles earlier in their careers. They took more ball dominant approaches because that's what the coaches told them their team needed. Both have said this in interviews.

Who cares, his a major upgrade at the 3 , Aminu made 4 three pointers last season and you guys are complaining about a guy who can't shoot? Im pretty sure Tyreke made about 50 last year and is improving. Robin lopez can make more than 4 threes playing SF.

But the basketball world will end in anarchy if we can't define his position!

Could likely resign aminu if you get Evans for the right price. This would solve the who guards Durant question.

I feel like Dell is with a girl on a date and the girl knows that he will ask her out at the end of the night.

I just wonder how much he got offered. 10 million per season?

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

It does seem like a lot of guys to have whose games are predicated on going iso, but at least Holiday and EJ have shown a penchant for playing off the ball.

It's also a pretty great problem to have.

Monty has said a few times that they don't look at players as a "position". Just thing we'll have 3 dudes that can start a P/R with as well as create off the dribble. If Reke had a consistent jumper like Jrue and EG they'd be a sick trio.

Why did I think Iggy was 6'8?

  22. #272
    Well two highlights of his:

Ripped Westbrook clean then drove the fastbreak and laid it up.

Took Westbrook one-on-one with a spin move for another layup.

The man has stolen my heart.

I wouldn't like that unless we were getting rid of Gordon. I don't like spending all of our caproom on Evans.

AFA would be a nice bench player at a low price.
