They must really doubt Gordon's durability.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Last year we didn't know anything about the Anderson and Lopez deals until they were already done. But now a lot of information is leaking. Perhaps Dell has lost his touch for the secrets.

Basically Ari Gold gtfo GIF would be used right now buy Pelicans to EJ?

Think about this. 3 guys that can be outlets for the break.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

6th man? He'll fit perfect off the bench being a tweaker between the 1, 2 & 3. I can't see him in our starting line, especially with Jrue and Gordon dominating the ball. I say give the 2nd unit to him , Anderson and Austin while letting Miller or Aminu hold down the SF spot.
2013-1014 is the season the Pelicans fanbase grows!!!!

If, big time, IF Reke could get a jumpshot, he'd be almost unguardable. Like a 6'6" Kyrie Irving.

For the record, we had no idea this was happening until 5 minutes ago and it's going to happen in 90 minutes. So he's still doing way better than most GMs in the league.

Also, I can't get over Evans' rookie year when he was going to be the next Dwyane Wade. With a competent coach and teammates he could be a steal.

    That's not true.

Why? We need our 3 to shoot the 3 well and be a great defender. He does neither.

I personally can't stand Evans, but I trust Demps. He's just way to ball dominant, he doesn't shoot the 3 well, and doesn't play defense well. Man I hope Sacramento matches
What is it with you and saying the three has to shoot the three? That's your interpretation of what Monty envisions the roster to be like. It's not like we have a shortage of three point shooters.

Perhaps we are transitioning to a 3 guard lineup.

    Think about it...

Iggy, Tyreke, no rumored Vasquez trades. With Jrue, Jackson, Robets, Rivers, Gordon on the roster. We might be trying to start a new look with three ball handlers on the court at all times.

Now this I can see. If we can get him for the right price, he'd be incredible off the bench.

Good thing we also signed Jean Grey. She can score without even touching the ball.

Man I'm already super excited about free agency. We must really be interested in the guy if we're meeting him so early.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

exploring all options. iggy's with denver right now so don't think it's a priority thing, just who they could get to meet with at midnight that they have some interest in. if you think you can sign him to a lower contract than gordon, does the drop in skill for a lower price get made up with an additional signing that you couldn't make with gordon on the payroll? just exploring all options for all scenarios

I like the team's aggressiveness. I like the name. I don't know I how I like the fit.

Monty could think of Tyreke as a super sub like Vasquez but way better. lol Evans could play 1-3 easily at time. Also would be nice to not have to lean on Rivers if Gordon goes down.

Note I said most effective, not effective. You think Holiday and Gordon are better without the ball in their hand? Certainly Evans is most effective with it.

We will get torched defensively. Especially in our division so I doubt it. No lie though, this is getting me excited.

What you mean is you don't think much of them as off ball shooters.

That said, I think a drive and kick to slash deal would really be effective. All three players can get to the rim and draw fouls.

That bothers me. Need someone to be able to play off the ball a bit.
