I believe this one more than the "I want Iggy one." Players are not generally in the know of what is going on between Dell, Mickey, and Monty.

This player being a guy who isn't a key piece and was a role player at best. As u already stated. How the hell would he know what dell and Monty are going after?? C'mon wit all that. Ain't nobody got time for that!!! I could see a player not liking coach but him knowing all that?? Nah

Because that's probably not their only client? Maybe they heard it from another agent? Could be any number of reasons.

i believe the larger point is, and the OP surely knows this already, that what a rotation-type player likes or doesn't like about the head coach, who just got an extension, and is joined at the hip to the GM, who just got an extension, and are in year 2 of a number-1-overall pick rebuild era, with new owners desperate for some continuity and brand-building, is, well, unimportant, whether true or not
