    Vasquez out against Nuggets

    Jim Eichenhofer ‏@Jim_Eichenhofer 1h
Greivis Vasquez (ankle) won't play tonight vs. Nuggets. Brian Roberts will start at point guard. Backup PG may be combo of Harris/Miller

    Jim Eichenhofer ‏@Jim_Eichenhofer 4m
Greivis Vasquez will miss his first-ever game with the Hornets. He played in all 66 games last season and the first 70 in 2012-13

    Darius Miller running the point?

    Also, TANK.

This might be anti-tank. Just kidding.

Sucks vasquez is going to miss time. It has been very impressive how durable he is. I know it's something he probably prided himself on.

Looking forward to seeing Harris more....if he can hit a shot he can be a valuable assett

Think Gordon may run point in starting lineup and have Roberts play off the ball?

Darius Miller... the next point forward? It's about that time of the year when miracles happen...

Its kind of easy to be durable when you don't run fast, jump high, don't have quick feet, don't play defense or fight for rebounds. To slow to pop or pull a muscle and his slow flat footed pace will never get ahead of his knees or ankles.

And he's also been lucky to not catch any random elbows, knees or step on anybody's foot until now.

The dude rebounds a lot(#2 for PGs), and is constantly bumped and pushed off balance when going to his patented right hand floater down the lane. Yes, he's slow, but injuries don't come from being fast or athletic.

Why can't people just applaud Vasquez for things he does well? He's been in every game giving everything he has. Whether what he has is good or enough, is another debate that has been burnt out.

Agreed, GI. I'm so over the debate. I wish we could keep him as a backup, he'd be an amazing championship quality backup.

    Um, what?

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Would be nice to break the Nuggets and Heat streak, and totally send the tank crowd into a complete frenzy when we are all of a sudden picking 8th. HAHA I'd love it.

TBH, I don't give a crap about the tank. I want to win tonight, wednesday, and Friday. I want our guys to keep gaining confidence and seeing that this isn't some sinking ship. We can lose out or whatever after that. But I want the players we have now to keep growing that confidence, and winning does that.

Agreed. I could not believe that comment you quoted. Ridiculous to criticize GV while ignoring facts.

Darius for point! He's the best passer playing tonight... maybe even on our team in general (and yes i'm serious). We'll just have to see about his other PG skills though lol. Who knows, maybe hes magic johnson

Ive been waiting for this moment for a while. He always makes at least one killer pass that wows you. I wish he would be more agressive on offense though bc he passes up good looks and often makes one pass too many.

I was over Austin's injury, but now I'm sad again.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let Greivis Vasquez go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will ban you.

If we were to go on a on a 12 game win streak to finish the season (theoretically speaking), I'd be ecstatic. The tankers would be crushed but the true fan really knows how much confidence that builds for these young guys and how much easier it could make Dell's job this offseason. It'd also help the Monty criticism.
