Figured we could use a thread on this. From what I've gathered, this was what was discussed:
1. Rivers play. Said he was young and needed time.
2. Hornets facility that will be built next to the Saints facility will be the biggest in the league. Dell designed it and feels it will help lure FA's here. A little bigger than Dallas, OKC, and Cleveland's.
3. Said Gordon was playing at about 80%. Docs instructions not to play back to backs. They don't want to take the risk of him getting hurt again in a non playoff season. Demps said it takes a full season to get in game shape without a camp. Gordon isn't full speed yet. Said having him run on treadmills underwater and other treatments that are doing with him don't recreate game speed and his lack of being in game shape is why he'll have strong first halfs but trail off in the second. Said he hopes working with EJ this summer, they can have him ready to go next year. Chalk talk happened after the announcement about ticket prices so Demps kind of told the future with Gordon.
4. Upgrading PG is one of the teams priority's this offseason, mentioned trying Greivis at SF.
5. Lopez was not brought in to have this big of a role. According to Demps, Lopez was originally brought on to use against the Howards and Bynums of the NBA and not much else.
