My belief is because we haven't traded Tyreke that means he has none.
We are literally sitting here with a Tuesday deadline to make a move or we have to cut Frazier, Douglas, and Babbitt. If we aren't nearing the point of needing to dump him, we're darn close. Which is all I believe we could get for Tyreke, some form of a contract dump where we take back a fake 2nd or some very small 2nd round pick player, old vet, etc.
Your reasoning is exactly why Tyreke has no value. Teams don't need Tyreke right now, they don't need to take the risk that there is a setback with his recovery. The season isn't about to start. They are fully content they can just wait and get him later if he is healthy. Especially when our team is basically obsoleting him.
The Pels are the ones behind the 8-ball because they need to move someone to be able to make all our signings, or else we have to release players.
3 knee surgeries in a year, no fit on the team, a GM that has been trying to move him since the middle of last season, no incentive for another team to make a move now, 72 hours away from our deadline to make a move. . .
This is absolutely the time when Tyreke has his lowest value.
