Now Love knows he should've finished that.
I heard a rumor that Kobe only wanted playing time in big moments in big games.
Big 3 Deron.
Let's go USA!
Good put back Love. Come on guys.
Nobody even attempted to make a run at Mills why he had time enough to eat a Snickers before hitting that 3. SMH.
Coach K takes himself way too seriously. PLAY DAVIS
No need to risk hurting yourself in garbage time.
Let's get out of here and on to the next one.
Unibrow just got rejected
They should smash that old Argentina team. I think they will face Russia after that.
Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams
Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston
Tired of seeing him out there with dead legs from being on the bench all game. I wanna see him out there when the game still is being played reasonably hard.
*sigh*
Justh ave to wait till he's wearing a NOLA jersey.
I agree. When the game is still being played reasonably hard and every point/rebound counts. We haven't seen yet how he can do in REAL game situations. We haven't seen how he handles real pressure.
ETA: I understand these games are close and K may not want to take a chance but unless he gets put in the games in the first half when the games are close, I'm afraid this is how it will continue to be. I'm patient though. I can wait until he's in a NOLA jersey. We'll be able to watch him every game to see how he does.
I'm not worried about Davis' playing time these olympics because I know he will start in 2016.
Formally known as WhoDatMan504
That, and he's getting some kinda mentoring from the man Kobe.
2013-1014 is the season the Pelicans fanbase grows!!!!
Yep. I've seen it mentioned before that this is a possible prep of 2016 for Davis.
http://www.courier-journal.com/artic...pic-basketballLONDON — Anthony Davis is the last man picked and the last man off the bench in 2012. He could be Team USA’s cornerstone in 2016.
If NBA Commissioner David Stern’s proposal to slap a 23-and-under age limit on players from his league competing in the Olympics becomes reality, Davis will be the 23-year-old sage in Rio, the only player with Olympics experience.
And if not, the reigning college basketball player of the year, Kentucky national champion and NBA No. 1 overall pick still figures to be a significant part of the team. It’s one of the main reasons he’s on this one.
“I think he’s a big part of our future for USA Basketball, regardless of how (these Olympics) play out,” Jerry Colangelo said of Davis, who replaced the injured Blake Griffin on the roster. “In the World Cup in 2014, I look at him as a prime candidate. And I think the experience is really gonna push the pedal for him in his rookie year.”
I would hate to see to that rule implemented. So dumb to even consider it. Every country sends their best athletes out to compete, why shouldn't we? Stern should know better than anyone else the positive impact sending your best players has on the globalization of the sport. Seeing AD play major minutes in the Olympics would be great, but let him earn it. Urgh.....
"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
