Peja and Anderson aren't alike. Those comparisons need to stop.

People are comparing Anderson with the 2011 Peja

They must have forgetting Peja in Sactown. Dude was a wing scorer, not a Kevin Love type who extended the defense. Ryan Anderson's style of play is like Kevin Love.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

The team won't ask much from him offensively, but he can't be a liability either. Defensively he has elite potential. Still, we will learn alot from him this season. Wouldn't surprise me in the future if Darius Miller gives him strong competition for the starting job. His skill set offensively and defensively allows him to be a perfect role playing SF around Davis and Gordon. That's why this season is very important for Aminu. So far, he's been a very awful player in his first two seasons, mostly because of his offense.
There are guys in the league that make careers of just adjusting to their roles and doing that. Then there are guys that are never willing to adjust to a particular role and they may play a contract and a half and then they're out of the league.

One thing Aminu needs to do, just play his role. Don't try to do too much. Think Danny Green in SA. I don't know how accurate it is, but on the Olympic site Aminu is listed at 6'10. With his length and athleticism, he could make his name in this league by just playing hard. There is no reason why he can't pick up 6-8 garbage points per game just by playing hard and using his length and athleticism.

Put that in with his defensive abilities, he could enjoy a long career here if he just buys in.
