That's what I said earlier during the initial reports of the trade rumors. Lopez is a defensive minded guy, and he has a great attitude. I think Monty will really mold him into a very good defensive player. They are a great fit together, and I'm really excited about the move.

Part of the hang-up on the Lopez 3-way deal is the terms of the 1st-rounder the #Suns will get from MIN. It might be a MEM pick owed to MIN.
They can't get an all-star center, but they were trying to get the best they could get. That's all we should hope for, to get the best players they can get.

The #Suns will be getting Brad Miller's contract in the Lopez trade. He will be waived. He said earlier this year that he planned to retire.
