who are the clips giving up?
Whoa. That came out of no where.
Brian Cook's expiring and a future 2nd rounder from the Clippers
How angry is Nene? You just signed a 5 year 65 million dollar extension to stay with Denver.
I don't think CP will like playing with Nick Young at all. He holds the ball, shoots it constantly, and isn't very efficient at all.
Still, that's a great deal for them in terms of value.
cp3,young,butler,griffin,d.jordan just wow.
The Wizards were not going to spend the kind of money that it was going to take to resign Nick Young and Mcgee over the summer.
Going around looking at this, Wizard fans are pretty thrilled to get rid of Young.
Nick Young has been flat out awful so far, but the Clips needed depth at the sG spot.
Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams
Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston
nick young is a selfish chucker who never records an assist and plays zero defense
That will never be a good defense. Jordan will have to cover for Blake and Young's shortcomings. Butler is getting a step slow, so that won't help matters though he is not really a negative atm. CP3 is above average but not top level on defense.
The offense will be above average, but I don't see it becoming tops in the league. Capable of second round easy, but not likely to make it to Finals.
CP3 will whip Young into shape. I want to know why the hell Denver did this. Buyer's remorse is one thing, but can you imagine Javale McGee in thin air? There's no telling what could happen
What an absurd deal for Denver, first all the drama in the offseason surrounding nene and now they just trade him away for McGee
Chris Paul will make the spot up shooting Young better, though not a ton. I don't get at ALL trading for Mcgee, seems like you could get just a ton more for Nene.
good thing about this deal is that if Wizards pick before us in the draft they are less likely to pick A. Drummond.
Denver didn't have the money to sign chandler, this deal allows them to do just that. I wouldn't be surprised if he's signed by the end of the week.
