brilliant...
GO BRISTOW GO BRISTOW GO!
Boss
Burger Flip no more.
That´s good news. Finally it happened. Now wait what will happen to Baron.
Good look for Rice. Sensational.
It was official when I posted it. ESPN is too slow....
YEAH!! I know Byron Scott wasn't real big on Glenn Robinson. HE even said something along the lines that he wasn't interested in Robinson at all earlier in the year. But this is a smart business move. This will put us in FA heaven next year. We will be able to sign anybody...Please let it be Ray Allen.
ronnieone, it was official last night, it's just that the sixers just posted the press release. In fact, the sixers haven't even posted a link to the release yet on their site - yes I'm that good.
Now it would be nice to find out whether GRob is in playing condition or not.
But I wonder, why the Sixers made that deal and didn't just let Robinson come off the books in the summer ...
wwwwwwooooooooooooo hhhhhhhhooooooooooooooooo
Good deal, Robinson is not the best defender in the nba, but is still able to score 20 pts a game...
how does phili benefit form this trade?

Because they still would not be under the cap, so it would not help them. They get the insurance company to pay most of Mash's contract and get him off the books (or a tradable expiring deal) later.Originally Posted by TheBigEasy

i guess, it just seems weird that they would want this deal.... i wonder if mash reports?? what do you guys think will happen?
yeah u called it spaniard!
Watch Mashburn's punk arse play now. I don't care anyway. He's not that good even when he plays. He's old, slow and a ball hog who plays no D.
The best part about this trade is that in one trade the Hornets got rid of two of the most loathed players in the history of the franchise!!!
Talk about killing to losers with one stone.
As for Big Dog, I personally hope he doesn't even play. I don't want him taking away minutes from Nachbar.
We already have his separated twin, Nailon, anyway.
Mash won't play, it's just a way for the sixers to save 80% of that money.
do you think we should have kept mash? i mean only paying 20% of his contract, does the owner keep it or what? if so, couldnt it have been used to help build the practice facility? or am i just really cracked out right now because im very tired?
I really don't care how much money Shinn spends. That's his problem not mine. You're tired.Originally Posted by whoah whoah

ALRIGHT! Drinks are on me!
