Giannis Antetokounmpo is a really great basketball player, one of the top 3 or 5 or whatever in the NBA. There are reports of him possibly wanting out of Milwaukee. If he is traded, either at this year's deadline or in the offseason, it is very likely Milwaukee will be a worse team next year. If they have a worse record/fall in the standings then they will have a higher pick in the '27 draft (for clarity's sake, higher is good, you want a higher pick...due to the NBA draft system, the bad teams get the good draft picks). This is all relevant to you because the New Orleans Pelicans, the team you are in charge of, currently have Milwaukee's 2027 first round draft pick due to a prior transaction that you had nothing to do with. If Giannis does wind up leaving Milwaukee, that draft pick will become much more valuable than it is right now. That means that you absolutely should not, under any circumstances, trade that pick for something near it's current value. I hope that was in simple enough terms for you to understand.
