I wouldn't doubt it to be honest. Canadians don't really have much in terms of competitive sports so BBall must be pretty huge for them.
I mean compared to the rest of the league, pels fans do not show up on a regular basis; and please don’t quote me attendance numbers. I’m talking about actual people in the seats. However, what I’m more focused on is why did he need to say anything? Sounds like a whiney crying you know what to me.

Pelicans product on the court (considering injuries and resting players) has been substandard the past 5 years. Most of our players show little enthusiasm or love for the region or us fans, and the brand change from Hornets to Pelicans with the bland colors, mascot, etc. didn't help. The team is very generic even when healthy and never is healthy for long, so what's to get excited about? Brandon himself is so low-key that even his 40-point games did little to inspire blind loyalty and butts in the seats.
