Good signing. Was hoping that's who we'd go after.
The Milwaukee Bucks are 1 player away from being amongst the top 5 worst teams in the NBA. Just crazy... Honestly all other moves by Dumars this offseason have been solid.

I wanted a veteran C so is good, for decent price
for the rest I would like another veteran 3-4
They paid for his leadership and mentoring. As a player, he has been on a significant decline.
Milwaukee just signed Myles Turner. They probably finish top 4/5 in the East for sure this year now.
But that also means the Pacers just got worse. Without Turner and Haliburton there's a non-zero chance that they miss the playoffs now and they got their 2026 pick back from New Orleans. They can even intentionally tank for a year now if they want.
Yep. Pels couldn't have seen that coming though. And we'd be sweating it all the way through the lottery that it wasn't picks 1-4 (since it was protected 1-4 we wouldn't have gotten anything if it lands there). Also if they hadn't reacquired the pick maybe Indiana wouldn't have done this to begin with.

Would love to see Russell Westbrook go to Milwaukee to play PG for Giannis and Myles Turner. Bucks would be no worse than a play in team in the east with those 3. I would also love for the Pels to trade Hawkins +/- Alvarado to make room for CP3 on a 1 year deal. CP3 with Zion, Poole, TMIII, and Queen would be nice offensively. Fears can learn from the best for 1 year while running the 2nd team. DJM could return post all star break to be the 6th man scorer then get traded next season.

Derik Queen better be something special. That's all I gotta say.
My 'glass half full' time is long gone. This team has to make some noise this year. No excuses.
Missi / Looney
Zion / Queens
Murphy III / Jones
Poole / Hawkins
Fears / Alvarado
Seems to have some depth to it but still isn't flying off the screen as a shoe in for the post season.
The Pelicans have wasted so many assets the past 3 years, it is a clown show that this is what we are left with.
Poole needs to be an All Star this year for this team to succeed.
I have a weird hope for Hawkins. He has shown me nothing to deserve it...but he's young. He was 22 last season. Sophomore season. With Fears being so young and raw and DJM being out....the opportunity is there for Jordan to take it.
Why am I seeing rumblings about Herb or Trey being traded? I haven't been following as much in the offseason but is something going on? I personally would never trade Herb.
CP3 would sooner retire than play here next season. The Pels are a second class citizen in their own building with no fan support, an always injured franchise player, a lame duck coach and a laughingstock front office. We're not going to get players that want to win or players with options to sign with other teams. We'll get players that we can overpay, that's about it.
I do not want to trade away Herb and I don't think Kuminga fits this team but just playing Devil's Advocate.....Herb is 26 and Kuminga is 22...so that trade would reset the timeline a little bit.
Kuminga doesn't make sense on a team with Zion, TMIII, and Queen. That's a lot of high use players at the forward spot. Kuminga makes perfect sense if Zion isn't in the long term plans. Just saying. I still wouldn't trade Herb for him.
Another thing to always keep in mind is that there wasn't a single morsel of rumors hinting at us trading CJ or being interested in Poole. Not a single crumb. I know that makes message boards less fun but if you hear a rumor about the Pels it probably isn't real. It's more likely Kuminga or GS is using us to drive up interest.
