Awful. Really rough #1 pick, I wouldn't take him top 5.

What does this mean for Atlanta? This is a project pick, do the Hawks actually think they can elevate him quickly or are they thinking of slow developing him? They don't really have the team strength to support bringing someone along slowly.

Makes sense if they're rebuilding but would they do that? If so, it's good for the Trae sweepstakes but rough.

Sarr refused to even work out for them. So looks like they'll keep Okongwu

Sarr goes to Washington - I'd have taken him first.

Not sure what I think about it for Washington, I don't really have any idea what they're doing either. They just moved one of their better pieces but it was for more picks, so if it's a rebuild then that's cool but they were already kind of rebuilding anyway, so they traded a piece of their rebuild for more rebuilding.

It's weird. He's going to have fun winning 24 games next year though.

First time in NBA history that the first two picks in a draft have both been international, and definitely the first time they've both been from the same country.

With Wemby and Gobert, France has been churning out these tall guys for a little while, huh?

Shams is leaking stuff too quick, I'm not even posting the 3rd pick yet. Breaking the news early is one thing but can it just be like, a minute early instead of 5, please, Shams?

Good pick. Ron Holland starting his slide, as I had him 2nd.

Sheppard's good, very polished guard scorer and not quite as defensively poor as you'd expect from his size.

Great pick for Houston. He going to give us fits

I actually like Castle to the Spurs quite a lot, for them at least, but I would've thought they'd wait until their other pick. 4 seems a bit high for me, but I guess if they like him they like him.

He's a big, strong guard with good defensive instincts, pretty good secondary passing, and a good finisher. Wishes he was a pure point though and he isn't.

Good pick for Holland. Not sure if they'll keep him but if they do, he'll be a great off-ball option for Cunningham. A little like the Thompson Twins actually in some ways, though not quite on their level, so this is Detroit doubling up in some sense.

Electric athlete, great defensive prospect. Some potential offensively but he shouldn't be given too much responsibility early.

Woj tweets they're keeping Ron Holland.

Detroit has all the world's athletes, zero shooting.

Not a huge fan of this pick but if they're trading it back to 9, then this is actually going somewhere else and that might be better.

Salaun is a weird guy, there's a lot of potential, he's a decent shooter for 6'10, good straight line athlete, solid rebounding instincts, but aside from that it's all a bit of a work in progress. Needs a team with some good development.

No idea what they're really doing here. They've got Ayton, they've got RobWill.

Not a horrible pick, just a bit confusing.

    Wonder when Dillingham will go.

As of right now Ingram is still a Pelican

  17. #567
    And Collier.

Incredibly astute observation. If it hadn't been for the fact that basically everyone knew that to be the default, most likely outcome, you may even have enlightened some people.

Either location is good for him. Either in SA with Wemby, who wants a PG, or getting moved to Minnesota who desperately need someone who can run normal offense when Conley is out as a backup thing. He's fully capable of that.

    With what, Woj?

Edey off the board to Memphis

Fine I guess. Real 6'8, good defender, very little burst though. 3pt% was high but the release is ugly and slow, might need to some fine tuning at the NBA level. Big upside if everything pays off.

You have to admire that San Antonio long game. Wemb could become the face of the NBA but if tragedy strikes and the Wolves regress to their mean, that could turn into the next supposed face of the NBA. Lol

Every Spurs fan: Please get us a point guard
Spurs: But have you considered seven years from now?
