would you want him on the Pelicans
In theory he makes sense on offense at the 5

KAT is a 3 trapped in a center's body. He'd be a great stretch 5 but would offer zero interior defense. We'd have to give up a lot for him too.
its close. would be worth looking into. he once showed a capacity to play a little bigger than he does nowadays; which is almost good cause he'd only be available due to his recent soft play
but im sure they wouldnt want my package of cj mccollum, draft picks, and a king cake
They have a huge tax bill coming they might not want to pay...
There is an article on B/R on this
https://www.minnesotasportsfan.com/t...-trade-rumors/
All this need is
Donavan Mitchell (with guaranteed signed extension) OR Trae Young at the 1
AND
JJJ OR KAT at the 5
~
Simple. Championship.
Trade CJ, BI, Dyson, and 4-5 1sts in any combination of trades to get the above two things done.

Our current roster needs to focus on getting BI to create more offensively and shoot more 3s. I get that the odds if this happening aren't looking great but with KAT on the roster the new "we can't compete until we do this" thing turns into getting KAT to play defense and I think we have better odds with Brandon.
BI, Zion, and CJ had a net rating of +3 when on the court together. BI and Zion had a +13.4, BI and CJ had a +13.2, Zion and CJ was just +5.4.
BI and Zion worked. BI and CJ worked. It was CJ and Zion and all three together that didn't work.
KAT commits some of the dumbest fouls ever.
