Yeah it’s very unfortunate. Coach is a disaster with a roster like this. Willie has had many games where he should have been ejected due to the sh*t his team goes through. Instead he sits there looking clueless and saddened. No backbone at all.

Last nights game was an abomination of coaching. Willie made zero adjustments. Ja Morant was left to run wild. No full court pressure applied to him at all, no double teams, no trap. Just stand back and let him operate as comfortably as he pleased. And we had a 2 for 1 opportunity to close out the game but wasted time to give Ja the last shot. I mean it was very very bad coaching.

im assuming dyson was supposed to trap ja when he cross into our spot and make him kick it out to an open player to take the last shot but dyson hesitated...so, i dont know if the last play was on coaching or the players...

It’s on coaching. You don’t even give him the option to hesitate. Just instantly trap. No waiting at all.

Officiating was terrible last night and even CJ noted it in his post game press conference. When a small guard can get to the lane and get calls for almost nothing (12 FTs) and a PF gets hammered repeatedly in the lane and gets no calls (4 FTs) it becomes obvious what the intent was. Had that game not been on TNT with the Ja hype, not sure it would have been called the same way. Having said that, Willie did nothing to stem Memphis runs. He really just does not seem to know what to do or when to do it.

Just going by history at the time. Go thing we had halftime . We were gassed. Came back nice. Now all of a sudden Willie is a good coach . Interesting.
