If your best shooter is being played close, you run plays to open them up. Just accepting ''oh well, our guy isn't gonna get any 3s tonight'' is a coaching failure.

Yeah that's his biggest limitation. As much as people call CJ a catch and shoot player, CJ can create his own shot. Trey can't. That's also why he isn't getting enough shots up.
