There it is! BI let out all his frustration on a monster dunk, great decisiveness and explosion to the rim. Then a transition 3 from CJ. This is what it looks like when things start clicking

CJ and JV have definitely been our most consistent players that last week and a half
In a start where the refs have taken Zion out completely and BI is having a bit of trouble getting going, CJ and JV are just carrying right.
For all the ******** Willie gets he?s really put a defensive stamp on this team.
Here we go, BI starting to warm up.
If he can get warm and then the refs can ignore JJJ's flopping long enough for Zion to play 2 consecutive minutes, we might be on to something here.
Ingram dunked so hard it made his mid range start falling lol
In five minutes, DD is +20. It starts with defense and always will.
CJ and BI just messing them up right now.
Grizzlies have no idea what's going on.
Damn bend over and pick the ball up
9 offensive rebounds for Grizzlies... and more then half of them were pure poor effort by Pels.
Bad call goes our way for once.
The reality is, the NBA is an offensively driven league. Individual defensive issues can be covered up to a degree by scheme and other teammates; individual offensive issues can't be.
There's a reason that prime James Harden could be an MVP candidate despite being one of the worst defensive players in the NBA, whereas Matisse Thybulle was barely playable for years despite being an excellent defender: one of them was unstoppable on offense, and that can make defense worth it, but if you are unplayable offensively, it almost doesn't matter how good you are on defense.
Herb’s not great on those quick shifty guards. Dyson is.
Cody Zeller with a super tough big man move protecting the paint! Wow didn't know he had that in him
Refs making some elite plays here to bring the Grizz out of the crater a little.
That’s ok I’ll take a 19 point lead at half
Defensive rebounding our only negative. And Zion’s foul trouble.
Halftime - Pels up 60-41.
Pels win the 2nd quarter 39-16.
CJ, JV, and BI have all had good first halves overall - CJ and JV all along, BI took a minute to warm up but he did, in fact, warm up.
Zion's been frozen out by the refs so far: imperative that he comes out and plays well in the 3rd to give the other guys some support. Someone needs to talk to the refs at halftime, idc if Green gets a tech. It's been absurd.
Cody Zeller minutes continue to be productive. Trey Murphy needs to take some goddang 3PAs.
