Honestly, the game is far closer than it should be but there are relatively easy fixes.

We're winning the actual %age battle (we're shooting 50% to their 47%) and the FT battle (18 FTM to 11 FTM), and we've turned it over less. The deficit comes in two places.

1) Rebounding. JV has 7, Zion has 4, Naji has 2, nobody else has more than 1. Ingram has 0. We've been a much better rebounding team in our recent wins and we're don 23-17 on the glass so far tonight; guys have got to pick it up.

2) 3pt shooting. They're 8/16, which is unsustainably good, and we're 3/13 which is unsustainably bad. We have to keep looking for good shots from good shooters - Hawk, CJ, Trey - and just wait for the law of averages to kick in. They're really hot from 3 right now and we're extremely cold, but we have the personnel to make the comeback there.

Hope CJ and BI warm up in the second half. They're a combined 2/14 from the floor and 0/6 from 3. If they can just have average second halves, this game turns into an easy win.

I figured CJ would struggle, when guys come back from injury it always seems like the 2nd game back is where they struggle. I’m a little disheartened to see Hawkins with so little playing time. I feared with the guys coming back Willie would be tempted to bench him when he makes a rookie mistake.
