Pels pull it back at the half. Great interplay between Zion and Ingram late, and Naji seeming to hit that 3 right when the momentum felt like it was all slipping away turned it around.
Hopefully second half we can hit some 3s and build up some momentum of our own.

We haven't played particularly well since the the first Sacramento game. Even in beating the Clippers we were severely outrebounded. And until we shoot free throws at a respectable rate, teams will challenge us hard...not caring if a foul is called or not. This year CJ has been excellent in the starting lineup when he has played. If he keeps a similar level he will fit fine and dandy. It?s a matter of us just getting everyone healthy and finding a consistently decent backup big whether it be Zeller, our G league boy or via trade. Nance has really fallen off since last year.
We have made more shots than they have.
The problem is, they're making 3s, we aren't. Our no-shooters lineup was surviving and doing well because they were all shooting above their averages from 3 (Dyson, Herb, BI for a few games) and other teams were shooting horribly below average from 3. Now the averages have come back to something resembling normal and the loss of shooting is crashing into reality. Doesn't matter if you score 10 baskets and they score 7, if their 7 were 3s and yours were 2s.
Zion getting the tech WG should be getting. Damn WG grow a set
By shots I mean 3’s. These games will be struggles until we can hit them on a regular basis.

The whistles have really killed this game. But yes I agree.
I've said in the past that I don't want Zion launching up 3s, and that's still true. I think they should make up a very small portion of his shot profile.
That said, when he was drafted I said then that I thought he could be an acceptable low volume shooter from 3 when left wide open. That's still true. Most threes, I don't want him taking - 3s like that one he just took? Absolutely. The shot looks good!
The guy other than Zion who really gets hosed is Jonas. The refs let guards grab his arms in the post without any whistles.
I'm glad Zion took that tech for it. Someone has to.
If he has to take a tech for it every couple of games, I'm good with that. If any fines come up, WG should pay them, since it should be his job.

If we had a HC with backbone and stood up for is players when they don't get the calls things might be different
I hate it when the refs whistle crap that has no bearing on the play. Especially when we’re in the penalty
