At least when I post stats to back up what I say, they are accurate. Unlike some dweeb who supposedly thinks they know basketball.

I do think its interesting that Willie takes the 'cornerstone' out late of the game recently when the game is on the line for defensive purposes. He's learning

CJ and Zion were guilty of the same kind of stuff. Naji too. We did a lot of this stuff particularly when other teams get tough or try to go zone. It was a systematic problem that we are in the process of fixing.

Don't fall for the stupidity. Nobody on this team has consistently just dribbled the clock out to settle for a tough mid range. And when BI has done it, he still scores or finds an assist (or potential assist not converted). Again, BI's ISOs HAVE NOT BEEN A TOP 10 PROBLEM FOR THIS TEAM. Zion has crashed into a loaded paint a bit too much, but even that hasn't been a top 5 problem.

The main issues on offense have been:

    1. Health
    2. Getting used to playing fast--which led to many unforced turnovers
    3. Not exploiting matchups in exchange for bad 3s from the wrong personnel
    4. Awful transition offense execution
    5. Lazy perimeter passing and no off ball movement-- particularly against zone

For anyone that's actually sat down and broken down the games, these were the early problems. This team does not have selfish players and some of them would try and pass the ball to a fault.

This "iso" argument, particularly when it comes to BI, is just the default for lazy people who don't want to sit and break down what was actually happening.

It’s not strictly an ISO problem but there were problems with ball movement and movement off the ball. And yes we had moments where we tended to ISO and run the hero ball, but that can be attributed to the issues mentioned above. I do think if you are going to run a play like that BI is the guy because he is a 3 level scorer that has the length to protect his shot- the guy is similar to Dirk in that regard. I had no problem with him running those plays but I prefer the current ideology where the team is more involved in the playmaking.

Now we’re resorting to name calling? Tut, tut. I thought you had ”threatened” to leave this message board. While I don’t know what we’d do without your insight and Zion hate, don’t let the door hit you on your way out.

Why do you you want to cancel Lucky? His posts are usually always on point. And when it comes to people who hate players, do you have any mirrors in your house?

Who do I hate? Other than AD, Lebron, Chris Paul, James Harden, and Draymond Green?

And no I don’t hate BI, he just frustrates me at times. And lucky is being disingenuous when he says BI’s play hasn’t changed in the last several games. It’s clearly changed for the better. The ball isn’t sticking to his hands nearly as long and he’s taking more catch and shoot and more one or two dribbles before he shoots. He still has his moments though, some of which I’m fine with some of which not so much, depending on the circumstances.

And I’ve also been just as critical of Zion as well, for similar reasons.

It hasn't...it's the same BI that put this team on his back last year and almost pulled it off (despite Willie's treatment of JV). Down the stretch last year he led the team in scoring and assists while his rebounding was respectable. In fact last year represents his pinnacle in assists over his now eight year career (and the year before that was his second best). That's just a fact.

There's a difference between being ball dominant and being a ball hog. Aside from DD, Brandon is probably the most willing passer on the team. As Lucky suggests, there's a track record to analyze for anyone interested in learning.

Team was five hundred with BI in the lineup last year. Don’t get carried away. His field goal percentage doesn’t justify his over reliance on ISO offense. The BI we’ve seen the last two weeks is a better BI than usual. Hopefullylly he keeps it up.

Considering they were 10 games under .500 for the season overall ....I think BI delivered.

I can only try to lead you to water...it's up to you to drink it (you can stick with your Kool Aid, for all I care).

And remember...BI for Zach LaVine would be a major upgrade. LOL

I stand corrected I had the previous year in mind, when he actually did get us in the playoffs almost single handedly. But like I said...I would get rid of BI too. LOL
