How’d that not go in for Zeller?

What a bounce back for the Pels.

If we can keep this kind of intensity, things can be different. Sure, we won't shoot as well every night, some nights guys who were hot today will be cold, or the other team will make shots that tonight they didn't, but if you're playing like this you're always in with a chance.

Was it Borrego? Do they just not respect Willie Green? Im serious. This looked like a COMPLETELY different team.

Herb and Dyson playing extended minutes together was fun to see.

Could be all kinds of things.

Is Borrego a more forceful communicator?
Does Herb really just change the vibe that intensely?
Was it the Herb/Dyson combo in the starting lineup that set the tone?
Was it everyone playing with a sense of hurt pride from how we got beaten down last game?
Was it just luck, and things will go back to being awful next game?
Was it the court, inspiring them with its beauty?

Impossible to know for sure, all I know is that it has to stay.

WG , now take your time, we don't want you to risk getting a setback illness. Let's re-evaluate you in a couple weeks and see if you're ready to return

I hear 2 weeks is a pretty normal time for further updates?

And the leading rebounder, assist man, and scorer was...........................?

I’m hoping Zion and BI’s takeaway from this game is to stop worrying about getting their shots up and just do what they’re good at, and if it’s not there kick it out and trust your teammates. Their natural talent will get them their points and they’l get it much more efficiently.

Rookies with multiple 25 point games so far this season:

    - Wemby x2
    - Hawkins x2

    that's the list so far

If roles were reversed and Zion played 9 more minutes than Ingram I'm sure the stats would also be reversed. Nobody cares about your pettiness issues with Zion.

He’s (Hawkins) playing a very mature offensive game. He moves well without the ball, and finds ways of getting open and he’s got a real quick release, and he’s not afraid to take the shot. I remember a time when all of the top stars coming out of college either won a national championship or were in the final game. It creates a basketball maturity that AAU ball and dipping your toe in college just doesn’t provide you.

Yea, no joke. it’s pretty pathetic that after a game like this that’s what he cares about.

Never really understood the need for a head coach in the NBA. Put one guy in charge of offense and one guy in charge of defense. Heck back in the 60’s you’d get players coaching the team.

Looks like they read my post and started the lineup I wanted. j/k.

But until either Trey and/or CJ is back, this is the starting lineup they need to go with. Yes they will need to win some games ugly or get blown out, but it's the best they've got.

Next move is to get EJ back from Birmingham. i know they want to take it slow, but the big situation is epic....ly bad.

Also, Brandon Ingram in iso doesn't even crack the top 10 in this team's problems. It's been one of the few assets. If he can just get that 3 ball working and get some foul calls to the line, the team is cooking with gas.

You'd still need to pick one person, either of them, to decide on moment to moment rotations and stuff in game, and that's your head coach. They're the one implementing the plans of the offensive and defensive co-ordinators, as well as motivating the players, communicating to the media, organising practices, etc. It's honestly largely an admin job and PR job.

Jesus. This team was absolutely soulless when Zion and Brandon were taking turns playing ISO ball. This game showed that the two of them can work together with neither playing significant stretches of ISO. And what you get is great basketball. If you want us to go back to Brandon dribbling the ball through most of the shot clock so he can take a contested mid range shot, then I don’t know what to say. Please go be a fan of another team.

Just as they saw a weakness has been exposed, we exposed our strength and we better not but it back where it was

The timeouts seemed more timely and the substitutions made more sense. Things were just working better. Hard to say how much was or wasn't on coach.
