You know how good paint protection is partly reliant on good perimeter defense, because it allows the paint guy to manage one attacker at a time, or to know it's coming, or to control the direction of the attack, or load up to jump, or whatever?
Yeah, anyway, for completely unrelated reasons JV looks awful on defense right now.

It's excruciatingly clear how short we are on guys who can get into the paint and generate looks for other people without Zion and CJ. Just absolutely painfully apparent how little defenses react to anyone else on ball.
