I understand the precautions becausehe is injury prone, but tbh i never saw him play trough minor injury like 90% of this league does. I expect him to miss 2-3 more at least.
Of course it didn’t show anything. BI is a bit of a hypochondriac. It’s why he’ll never be a true leader.

This is what really grinds my gears. **** them kids. if they want to see Steph play so bad, tell their parents to move the hell over there and let some real pelicans fans move here.

Some kind of way I agree with how you feel here. I hate seeing the opponents fans in large amounts like that.

Well SGA is a good all-nba player. But he's still not a basketball god like Steph.

The Zion led Pelicans should be able to take it tomorrow even if BI doesn't play.

I will never forget the draft where we could have had Desmond Bane, Xavier Tillman, or Isaiah Joe, and we didn't. They were all there. What does this team desperately need? Decent rebounding big and shooting? What do those three represent? A decent rebounding defensive big and two excellent shooters. None of these were ad-hoc desires - myself and many others were begging on draft night for us to pick them, we all knew. Nah.

Yeah, I remember you being high on Bane very early in the draft process. Think it was the first time I'd heard about him. I think the Pels drafting, outside of 2021, has been pretty mediocre. And I really don't get it. They've squandered so much draft capital in deals for paleo-centers or undersized shooting guards, and have been profligate with their second rounders, as if they don't matter. We've needed shooting and rim protecting forever, but they have declined to pin point that in the draft (until Hawkins this year).

Watching TJD put up 20-10 for Indiana, he looked like a no-brainer in the second round, especially if you want to play small and fast and switch everything. He was a good rim protector, a good scorer inside and a good rebounder who could also pass the pall and played with a high IQ. I understand he can't shoot outside, but how many centers really shoot enough to create gravity at the arc? Almost none. I thought Jackson-Davis would have been a perfect fit for the Pels offense. Now he'll be a good piece for Golden State....
