A lot of people were saying last year (and I started to be convinced by nearer the draft) that if Green is going to prove he can squeeze a decent defense out of any player, we just need to go for offense. Drafted Hawkins. Yep. If you can get the effort out of someone, you can usually find a role for them on the defensive end. We have a lot of defensive talent and length so we needed to go for the sure shooting and JHawk has started well. I’m stoked to see him getting a shot at starting tonight. He has earned the minutes.
