Funny how Zion is "always great" on offense, when he literally just had a sub-par game against Memphis. Got blocked 5 times and didn't start to score until the fourth, half of which off assist from Ingram. Who Memphis chose to double. Zion had a very up and down game but nobody really said anything that. The focus was on his awesome 4th.

Ingram has a similar "up and down" game that somehow still results in him shooting 65% from the field on 17 shots as a pure wing. And yet the usual goober has to let the world know he indeed had ugly parts to his game that cannot go unnoticed.

This Ingram/Zion dynamic among some "fans" is becoming comical at this point.

Well Said!! People refuse to see or acknowledge # 1's warts. After four years of 'crash and burn' (I refer you to my tagline), we have to hope he enjoys more 'Flash' than 'Crash' this season. Two down, 80 to go.

    HERE'S HOPING!!

It was a good game..the last 3mins was sloppy..the backups should have put the score over 100...we had a bad FT shooting night that would have put us over 100 also..

I don't know if it's more a testament to the youth of the franchise, or just how many bottom feeder non-NBA talents we've had on our rosters through the years, but I was just looking at our all-time franchise stats and it is hilarious how many of our current players are among the top guys in franchise history at various things.

Trey and Zion are both top 5 in Pels all time offensive rating. Jose and Herb are both top 5 all time STL%. Trey Murphy is our all time best TO%. Zion and BI are both top 10 all time Offensive Win Shares. Trey and Zion are both top 10 all time WS/48. Zion, BI, and CJ are top 10 all time BPM. Herb and Jose are both top 5 all time DBPM. BI and Zion are both top 10 all time VORP. Zion, Trey, and Ingram are all top 10 all time TS%. Zion, CJ, and Ingram are all top 5 per-game scorers in franchise history. Herb is top 10 all time in both steals and blocks per game. Zion and Ingram both top 10 all time PER. Ingram's top 5 all time points scored (and will probably overtake Jrue next season if he plays at least 60 games each year).

This is despite none f them being top 10 all time Pels games played.

Obviously some of that is because per game and % style stats don't take games played into account, and many of those stats (VORP, for example) aren't particularly high level stats, but still.
    Basketball.

Sounds like you are one of those "fans" you are complaining about. You complained last game that Zion got too much praise and CJ was ignored and yet, CJ was the player of the game and got the post game interviews. Same thing this game. Complain that Zion got some compliments and BI was criticized for something and then BI was named player of the game.

I am still amazed at how bad he is at finishing at the rim. It is frustrating.

It's a fact Zion got most of the talk and highlight videos the memphis game. So I posted a really obscure video highlighting CJ's game becuase I think he had the best game. It still only has 450 views now. Zion has literally 10 - 15 highlight videos for that Memphis game. Who the local rsn decides to interview call "player of the game" obviously doesn't matter.

This time I am literally talking about someoone with more over-the-top hate on Ingram.

You have an elite skill at dumbing down and twisting anything anybody says to try and compose a silly response. Which is why I ignored it last time. I should keep doing that.

Steph Curry is nursing a sore foot and just played 31 minutes against the Rockets. And pretty much put them to bed at the end. Now has to put that sore foot on a 50 minute plane ride to nola.

Wouldnt be surprised if he doesn't go tomorrow.

Just stating what you stated and both were false. It seems you are not a fan of Zion and do not like when the media gives him credit. Yet both CJ and BI got the recognition as players of the game. Not sure youtube video views are indicative of who had the better game. Some player simply have more appeal nationally.

You didn't state what I stated. Now on top of that silliness you add it seems I'm not a fan of Zion? I've defended him from some of the same stupidity on here that Ingram gets many times. Yeah I'm done.

Like I said, you have an exceedingly rare gift. In basketball parlance, I'd call it elite.

Almost all of those are rate stats...are they skewed by the current "efficiency era"? Like every year, seemingly half the league is putting up the most efficient offense in the history of the NBA. I wonder if other franchises would have similar current representation.
